As many meals as possible with as little cooking as possible. I might oven the chicken for tomorrow with the food for tonight..

Narco- lovely flowers. Simple and elegant! Well done you!

We have been pottering around the house today. OH didn't get out of bed until 11am! The spare room has had a blitz so looks much more presentable! We have also sorted through the box of 'bits' and rehomed bits of puzzles/games Etc to their proper place! Very satisfying! OH has given the coving on the stairs another coat . The new carpet is coming in 2 1/2 weeks and we have only done ceilings and covings. We still need to emulsion the walls and gloss 12 doors and skirting boards! Something tells me we will be moving the carpet date back a few weeks!!

    Anyway, list update...

That's one of the ones I've tried so I will give it another few goes to see if it makes a difference.

I've been in the garage lots today, looking loads better. Have cleared out some collapsible boxes. So now have a stack of things to sell, and things to donate / freegle. Neatly on one side so they are not in my way. It's black bin week so have lots of flinging to leave too. Pleased with progress.

Even DS has put his top trumps cards away - they were covering the LR rug.

They are nattering for food, so I shall go see what's for tea...

GWS Lynne; what on earth have you been up to, to have cracked a rib?

I shall be fluttering as best I can again this week; cracking on with the bookshelves, a bit at a time. We're at a bit of a hiatus as I need to weed some files of paperwork, with a view to reducing the space taken up, thus opening up more book storage space. I have some books "double stacked" on deep shelves, which is unsatisfactory as of course we can't see what's at the back.

The field is flooded, so Jack has had to have his walk along the Redways. It's not as good, but better than no walk. :o

Right, time to get the shredder out and start tackling those files. ;)
