    Morning

Snowing here so I'm going to cancel my diy shop visit.

    Still sniffing here

I think I will tackle the high shelves in the boys' room and potter about today. May even make twinks.

nicki Happy Easter to those who are celebrating! No chocolate here at all but I've spent the past 2 days munching my way through a packet of hot cross buns instead

They are my downfall. A pack of six is lucky to last 1hr so they are not allowed in the house!

No eggs for me. A nice healthy Easter. DH was on nights so no indulging, and I had to keep quiet/out of the house so I spent quite a lot of time at the gym.

Unfortunately I also didn't go to bed on time so will miss my morning gym class as I won't make the 0900 bus and the 1000 gets me there too late. Grrrr.

So I will take the furry for a walk and do a bit of flying before I leave. I'm doing roast beef for dinner as a bit of Easter celebration, and I baked 3 cakes yesterday so DH can take his pick. 1/2 of one going to the gym staff, and another for this evenings meeting (I can't have them lying around for too long or I'll eat them:o

Have a lovely Bank Holiday whatever you are up to.

Taken dog out as it stopped raining but then it rained while I was out. Everywhere is waterlogged so I won't be walking into town although I may drive later.

Glad you had a nice holiday Lynne but cracked ribs and chest infection - not good at all; take care.

Thanks for the list Natty and for last weeks Piggers.
Had family over yesterday - four generations! My parents, sisters, their OHs, my nephew and nieces, eldest niece'so Oh (the ones who bought a bungalow on homes under the hammer and were never going to move again, they have moved:rotfl:) and their son, now toddling! She is 36 weeks with number two! And the Vallikids and son's GF. We had a brilliant time, food, fun, board games...house is a tip. :D every vase is filled with flowers:D

So I need to get out of bed and make a start on the kitchen and dining room. I also need to collect together the borrowed spoons. We also borrowed chairs:D but I think they've gone.

And my bedroom looks like something out of hoarders... Slept with the other half of the bed covered with laundry hamper full of ironing to do and a stack of towels!

Juliejim did to clean off the marks on the windowsill?

Hope you all have a lovely day,

    Morning all
Hope everyone had a good weekend
Ouch Lynne GWS vibes and a very gentle hug for you.

Think I'll be doing a bit of mending and craft wip sorting today, as we've got family round again later.

Not really. Apart from the transcription (which I am plodding on with) and the afternoon out at the NT property, they're only quick jobs.
    Update:

    [STRIKE]- take DH to railway
    - eat breakfast
    - S&S kitchen
    - S&S bathroom[/STRIKE]
    - transcription (after a marathon effort over the weekend, the end is in sight :D) - in progress
    - lunch - will be mushroom omelette, ready in 3 minutes :D
    - go to vol job
    - pick up DH on my way home
    - cook and eat tea - mainly yesterday's leftovers :D
    - move computer downstairs so I can carry on working while the boys are here
    - make up beds for DGS1+2

Will go and make myself another :coffee: - my eyes need a break.
And Nicki, after reading your comment I shall have to have a hot cross bun with my drink! I keep them out of sight in the fridge, but I gave DH one to take with him this morning ;)

The snow has thawed and the sun is now shining. Just the sort of day for hordes of visitors to the NT.
