Thank you Busy Mee1 it feels great but as usual i am having trouble getting from one figure to the next i wanted to be closer to £21,000 but i cant see that happening but if i can reach £20,500 i will be very happy ,i wont know until the last day of the month for certain .I still have my £30,000 goal by the end of the year so with ten months left i am still on target
  • Well done on the £20k!
  • That's fabulous TH, and I like the sound of the target for the end of the year... something to aim for, and even if something happened to cause you to miss it, you'll still be in the high 20s so that will be amazing! :):):)

I hope you're not beating yourself up again TH about not reaching your stretch target... You've still made an increase on your savings *and* worked out how to treat your family member for their birthday *and* you're still on target for the end of the year! That's great progress!

Don't beat yourself up TH my S&S ISA took a dip too - everyone's did. I haven't got that much in mine so I didn't lose that much. I am sure it will pick up again. You have still done really well to get over the 20k mark.... it might spread your risk to start paying some of your savings off the mortgage x
  • Looking good! Nice targets for March. :)

Yes, S&S ISAs haven't done well here either :(

I saw that Hali had put their intro offer up to £125 last night - that's going to be my first (once the *new* DDs have gone through!).

Day 4 of a new month and things are not going too well.Due to the snow my husband cannot work so today will be 6 days with no pay ,The money that we need for daily life is coming out of savings thank goodness we have some but its going to be hard this month as there are no signs at the minute that it is going any time soon .

Food budget on target for the much reduced amount
Diesel budget on target too ,mainly due to the fact that two cars have not moved for days again due to the snow.
Ebax sales flat ,no sales and now on day 4
Surveys still being done as and when they turn up in an attempt to make some money this month

Thank you Busy Mee1,shangaijimmy ,themadvix and michelle09 ,i am trying to stay motivated but feeling a bit deflated at the minute i so desperately wanted to make the £21,000 target i set myself this month

I am having problems themadvix with my switch ,the second of my DD that i set up at the beginning of Feb is still not showing in my account and i think the offer ends in less than two weeks ,i am just waiting now to see if it appears in time
