Hi Diary
Bit slow on the house front, we thought we could just port our mortgage across to the new house as we are not asking to borrow any more but no it has to be treated as a new mortgage!! So we have had to prove earning's etc even though we have banked with them for over 10 years. They still haven't sent out a surveyor so it's on go slow!!
Sold some small items on eBay bay and facebook buy and sell site, so now have over £40in my pot and £20 In paypal.
Need to go shopping today for a beautiful dress and shoes for my little girls birthday party next Sunday.....can't elieve she will be 4 in 2 weeks time.
I have a really bad sore throat today, like a golf ball stuck in there. Paracetamol taken!Let's be happy!!0 -
Lovely morning so far. Been shopping with little one. I don't go shopping much these days but it was nice to wonder around.
Bought lovely little dress for dd, for her birthday party. £12 from George at Asda, pretty Sandals from next £14. Also gorgeous pink flower slide for her hair £3. Bought myself a top £12 and vest top £3 all from George.
Also spoilt ourselves with a macds for dinner.
So we are home now drinking tea in the conservatory. I do need to wash my car later on but for now I'm relaxing.
See ya later diary xxLet's be happy!!0 -
I'm still here.
I'm here most days just have nothing to report on the house front. Very slow. Surveyors went in yesterday and did a 4 hour survey. Waiting for the outcome. Everything else is ready. Didn't really put anything in to savings this month as we had to pay for holidays. £930ish for 7 nights in a caravan in Cotswolds!!! It is middle of August but omg!
We need things to move on now, house is a mess as I'm trying to de clutter but feel its too early to pack things in boxes. We have sold our over the bed wardrobes as the buyer doesn't want them so our clothes at the moment are everywhere.
Been really good with money for the last few weeks but today went a little bit over the top in Asd*. Little one needed a yellow t-shirt for her sports day team colour and also picked up some school dresses as hers look awfully short. In with that went £13 sunscreen for her (recommended) as she is a red head and everything I've tried doesn't last all day. Frozen sun hat. New lunch box bag, frozen tub for her fruit and New bottle. Also 2 books for me (2 for £7). Pair of superman pants for DH for his birthday which is also fathers day. So the bill came to £108. Only food was a bread and a few frozen items. Its a horrible feeling spending so much when your not used to it. In fairness though my daughters sandwich bag is in a bit of a state, as much as I wanted to hold out until end of term, never mind.
Good start to the summer. Love this weather but need to sort the hayfever out and I find it harder to rush around in this weather. By the time my body adjusts summer has ended. Camping this weekend. . . .yeah. We went over the last bank holiday and had an amazing time.Let's be happy!!0
