What a lovely sunny day it is today :j:j:j
I have the week off work as it's half term, husband has next week off and I'm back in work.
Today we are off out to meet up with my mum and sister, sister is going through an awful time at the moment. Her husband (who is like a brother to us, was our bestman) left the family home at Christmas and is seeing a girl from work who is 25!!! He is 40! My sister didn't see it coming and they have always been really close and best of friends. They have been together since their teens.
Hoping not to spend too much today.
We needed new car insurance so used Quidco and will get £50 cash back from tesco......husband thought I was amazing!!!
I'm getting impatient now and want the house up for sale as soon as we can.
We also have a leak in the conservatory roof.....man coming next week to look at it, could do without doing repairs:(
Speak soonLet's be happy!!0 -
Well just sitting down woth a cuppa tea.
Been to meet family for cuppa and cake.....again, you will notice this happens a lot!
Been shopping (food) £70. There was a £5 birthday present in that, dd has a party on Sunday. Freezer and cupboards are full.
Quick 10 min then I have to give the conservatory a once over and put things away so estate agents can take photos tomorrow. Also bought flowers so the kitchen looks nice.
See ya latersLet's be happy!!0 -
The leak in the conservatory has stopped!! It rained hard most of last night and the bucket was bone Dry..??...
The estate agent came and is putting the house up for £169,950. She said it's a sought after area and hopefully will sell soon. She has told us to start booking houses in to view. Fingers crossed.
I flew around the house before she came and put clutter in boxes and hid in cupboards. House looks lovely when it's nice and tidy. All dds toys were put away and out of view, what a difference that makes. Next house will have a playroom so we can just shut the door instead of tiding away every night.
she is sending the details by email tomorrow for us to check and sign, then will be on the market Saturday.
Need to get the weed killer out of the garage and squirter some weeds that are growing on he drive and buy some grass seed to put at the bottom of our garden, the bad rain we have had all winter has ruined our grass.
It's all happening and here's to the future :beer:Let's be happy!!0 -
Good luck and hope you get a good offer soon and find somewhere you love0

Yoo hoo
Lovely sunny day today.
Husband working so it's been myself and dd today.
My mum and nephew met us at Old Mcdonald's (that's what dd calls it) and payed, which was nice. Then we all went for a browse around Home Bargains. I usually come out with lots but I only bought kitchen cleaner and milk. Got home and sat in the conservatory (that leak has gone....where to I have no idea) with a cup of tea but couldn't keep still, so I weeded the garden and drive (wasn't that bad actually) then made cottage pie (dd said 'Mummy I like your pie but not the cottage' bless her.) Walked to the park for half hour. It's now dds bedtime but as it's the hols I think she can have an extra 20 min.
Husband and I have a meeting with financial adviser tomorrow morning so the in-laws are coming down to look after dd.
I know this diary is not really a mortgage free wannabe diary yet, but as soon as we find a house and start paying then we will overpay each month.
Hope it's nice where you are.Let's be happy!!0 -
All sounds very exciting Kittencat! Enjoy the last of the holidays, only a couple of days until we are back to work again. It sounds like you have been busy getting the house ship shape. Have fun with the house hunting!Debts: Credit Card: €6000 ---> €5050 Feb 25 \ Overdraft: Step 3/100

Went into town to sign contracts for putting house up for sale....it's on right move already!
Booked in to see a lovely property for Monday, they have just dropped the price by £10,000 so will probably sell quickly....never mind it's worth going to see.
