Thanks for dropping by guys :j:j

Not heard from the prospective buyers on another offer yet. I think they are making us wait. Either that or they aren't really that interested!
We have seen 2 houses today, both are exactly what we are looking for. House 1 - nice village on outskirts of the town we are in. Quiet little street. Will need work on it but not major. £189,990
House 2 - still quiet street not a dead end like the last (shame) not as much work needed, bigger garden. £174,950

We liked the 1st, it felt nice and apart from rewiring we can live in it and do up as and when. We have contacted the estate agents, luckily its the same agent that is selling our house. We have said if the invester makes us another offer we will then make an offer on house 1. The estate agent can't ring the investers until Monday. Omg I can't wait until Monday. I want to box the house up and move today :rotfl: I'm so impatient!!

Off to have cup of tea number 10

    OK slight change diary.

The invested haven't come back but we had a viewing yesterday and they are coming back for a second look on Friday. Fingers crossed.

The estate agent, on our request, put in a tentitive offer on the house we like, they will accept and are also prepared to take it off the market until we sell as they said they want a nice family to live in the house!! How nice is that?? I'm stunned!

The house needs to go now and we will take a few thousand pound loss if needs be.

    This is our forever home.

So now for the financial part of this diary.

We have a very good mortgage at the moment. It's a tracker 0.7% which is really good. It's with Intellegent Finance but they don't issue mortgages anymore so we are porting this over to the new house and getting a personal loan from tesco 3.4% for £25000 over 7 years. We hope to pay it off much quicker than that though then we will tackle paying of the £89000 mortgage. We have 14 years left of the mortgage and we hope for that to be gone before also.

So after not being in debt for many many years we are now £25000 on a personal loan. A little scary but it means we will have our nice family home in a lovely little village.
    Let's be happy!!

Put my name down for an allotment as there are some behind the new house. There are 4 people on the waiting list. I've only ever planted flowers but the allotments are lovely and they have a community feel about them, they also hold bbqs in the summer. I've asked for half a plot as a whole one will be way too much for a beginner.

Going to see the house again this afternoon with the builder, so fingers crossed theres nothing major going on.

    Catch you later xx
    Let's be happy!!
