    Nice weekend had here.

Dd had birthday party yesterday, she is such a lovely, funny little girl but gets a little sensitive at times. She has a best friend who she loves playing with but if someone else comes along and they are a little boystrious, she crys. She's only 3 (4 in 2 months), she has always been the same, shes a little better since starting school (they go full time earlier here than in England), she loves school and is really intellegent for her age but is sensitive. I know she will grow out of it but it's hard.

Today we went to a charity book sale with my mother and Dd. It was lovely got lots of books for Dd and for me and my sister. Tea and cake also had, but mum payed.

Popped into Mr Ts for bananas and milk and also came out with a summer dress for Dd £6.

I'm back in work tomorrow......boo.....had a lovely week off with my girl.
Husband has this week off to look after Dd, she will run rings around him. Proper daddies girl.

No news on the house front. Nothing really has taken our fancy on right move/zoopla yet.

    Pop in later
    xx

Gosh I seem to be spending all the time lately.

    £20 in nephews birthday card.
£30 deposit to cake lady for dds birthday cake, the remainder due end of May £30 more.
£5 for work colleague birthday pressy (50th).
£20 duvet set and fitted sheet for our bed.
    and that's just today!!

Went to see a house yesterday, lovely quiet area, older house. It was awful, really smelly and too much for us to do. We don'tmind some work but we would have to live somewhere else for 3 months whilst workmen sorted it. I had high hopes for this one, never mind it's only three first one we have seen. Not much out there that takes my fancy to be honest.

Our mortgage is down to the £89,000, savings up to £12,300.

Need to get the ironing done tonight and general tidy up.

Gorgeous day out there today, I've been in work all day (only work 5hrs but it's still the main part of the day). In laws are down today (live 1 hr away) and taken dd to the play park so I can have a cuppa. Missed her today though. My turn for bedtime stories tonight so will catch up with her then.

    Xx

Hi, it looks like we have similar aged daughters, mine is 3 and a half. Are you looking for a house in the same town/village as where you are now? Or further afield if the right house comes up?

Hi Jess, Newgirly Thanks for dropping in.

We have someone coming to view our house tomorrow and another on Friday. It's a start.
Need to run around when dd is in bed and tidy things away.

NSD today....so far. Been to work and my mum has been up to look after dd, so dh can run some errands.

We are looking in the same town but also umming and raring about moving more west. Been on our mind for years but we are more cautious now we have a little one. I would love to give village live a go, so would dh but we don't know yet. House prices are cheaper over there and it's only an hour away from here. I would have to give up work but dh would travel until a transfer came up. We just don't know what to do.

I'm off to finish my cuppa tea and may pop in later.
    Let's be happy!!

    Hi ya Diary.

Spent £17 today, £15 on mine and dds haircut (mobile hairdresser) with a £2 tip.

People came to view our house today, feedback was they liked the house but not the wiggley windy road that you need to get to our street. They were from away so didn't know the area, never mind we have another viewing tomorrow.

Friday tomorrow...yeah.... going for a nsd tomorrow.

  • Hi,

Hope you get a quick sale. I love looking at houses on Rightmove...even though we have no plans to move at the moment. We moved into this house almost 6 years ago as baby no.2 had arrived and we felt that we needed somewhere bigger. Eldest child has now started secondary (a bus ride away) so we are now starting to consider moving across town before the youngest hits secondary age. We live in a newish 4 bed detached but I LOVE old Victorian houses with lots of character!

Cuppa and cake...yes, I do that a lot too! :-)

Dear Diary, forgive me it's been 7 days since I was last here.

Busy week, my boss has been on hols, and still is, so I've been busy in work, busy with viewings and viewers for house.

We had a cash buyer, invester, who came to see the house yesterday. He offered us £160,000. We said we would like a little more as house has only been up for just over a week. He is getting back to us tomorrow as wants to talk it through with wife. So fingers crossed. It's normal to say no to the first offer isn't it?

We have a few houses to see so hopefully one of them will be our forever home. If not he will have to wait a couple of weeks. Exciting but rather stressful time!

On the money front.....husband has decided he needs a new motorbike (the one he has is 9 months old!) So has sold his and used £2,000 from the savings for a new one. Apparently it's the one he's always wanted. I don't mind as he has done so much overtime which is why we have saved so much so quickly I have told him to keep this one for a little longer mind.

    See you soon diary xx

Well done on the offer on your house! Good news, even if it's not quite the right amount, not bad for a week :)
