That's the reason we haven't done anything being honest our dogs, these are the type of muppets that would lob something over the fence which is toxic too our dogs.
But as aspiringanxious said Karma will come, what goes around comes around etc. Once I am back too work and my wages are right back up I will be paying 400-500 off me debts and I am hopefully working Xmas and new year which is another 1500-2000 in wages. Me and my partner just need too move asap. We are stuck though due too debts and the fact we can't rent due too our dog numbers.debts 16550

The dog thing must be very hard for you to watch - knowing an animal is not being looked after properly but not being able to do anything about it. Once I found one of my neighbour's children (they had 5 and were expecting another when I left) at 10:30pm wandering up the street alone wearing just a grubby vest. She couldn't have been more than 2 yrs old. I took her back and when they answered the door, they just glared at me, yanked her inside by the arm and smacked her on the bottom. I was just glad it was me that found her when you think what might have happened.
This family had been reported to the social more times than I could count for benefit fraud, drug use, theft, child neglect, but nothing was ever done. They would brag about on fb or in the street and the husband would beat up or intimidate anyone he thought might have 'grassed' on them. I sadly didn't report finding the girl to the social as I knew the family would retaliate against me or my animals. I should have just called the police when I found the girl rather than taking her home.
I hope you hear from your boss soon!
That is quite shocking re the little kiddy in the vest but not surprising. The old
labour government and there tax credits system has a lot to answer for.debts 16550

That was what I was thinking. These people would have no problem taking revenge on someone's animals if they felt they had been crossed. I did feel terrible about not turning them in but I couldn't risk something happening to my dogs and cats.
The sad thing was that the little kids were very sweet, but as they got older they started turning into little versions of their parents. Not long before I left, the oldest girl became pregnant at 14. The mother was outside bragging about how much more money they were going to get now for the new babies...0 -
Misty your story is chilling. It certainly makes me want to hold my own baby even tighter. I cant believe what goes on. The story about the woman who got drunk and 'forgot' her 14 month old was alone in the bath, who subsequently drowned, broke my heart. I have a 13 month old and the thought of leaving her in the bath alone for one minute just wouldn't cross my mind.
Husky sorry to hijack your diary! I really sympathise. We had to go to court via the council in our last home as the neighbour was a psychopath. We managed to obtain what is essentially a restraining order although it is called something else. The neighbour was not allowed to do any of the anti social behaviour anymore or face losing her council flat. We were private owners and I discovered the hard way just how many layers of rights council tenants have which when they misbehave, even the council themselves cannot do anything about due to protected tenancies. Ahhhh don't get me started. Almost 5 years later and I have as little to do with our new neighbours as possible because that person ruined it for me.

Yeah over the years re benefits and babies we have overheard similar conversations. My oh overheard a convo when middle child was going into junior school where the Mam basically said In 6 months she would be pregnant so the benefits agency didn't make her get a job.
