  • Hi Jvr i changed gp around 2 months back, mine didnt take it too well me going over his head too get a psychiatrist referral.

This time last year i spilled my guts too a family friend unbeknown too me she is a psychiatric nurse with 20years doing it. I knew she worked in the nhs but has always kept private what she did. Anyway she said by the sound of it i have either cyclothymia/bipolar type2, i went too my old gp and he refused too refer me too a psychiatrist.

Long and short of it was he was right i didnt meet all the criteria he wouldnt budge etc, so in the end i spoke with occupational health at work and i got an appointment too chat with a psychologist who made a diagnosis that matched our nurse friend.
Axa then produced a report recommending i see a psychiatrist which my tit gp couldnt ignore. The nhs has a lot too answer all this messing about took 2 months. But i eventually got a diagnosis from a psychiatrist of type2 bipolar, my counsellor has since changed this too cyclothymia but the meds are the same.

My new gp is very supportive thankfully

I am dying today if guiness is good for you why my head feel like a prop forward has jumped up and down on it. lol

On a plus note 30 quid from global test market came in this morning so it did sweeten my night out a little bit.

  • I don't know anything about electric guitars, why is that one called Dinky? Is it just the name or is it small? You must be excited about trying it out, and it's so nice of your parents to pay for it!

Nice job on the surveys. I've been so busy the last couple of days that I have fallen behind. The few that I have done, I've been screened out of after about 10 mins, which is frustrating. I wonder if anyone makes it through or if the screening answers are all they wanted in the first place.

Thanks for the link, I'm not signed up with them. Will do now.

No dinky is just the model name its not a tiny guitar, i saw your husbands b and m post and yes he is right. Any guitar for 20-30 quid will be rubbish. I tried the new guitar out yesterday and it sounds really good, plays better than mine. 30 quid deposit put down.

Which survey sites misty keep booting you out? There is some too avoid.

Have you tried valued opinions surveys? I do loads of these and get £10 gift vouchers every so often. Worth a look. I know you last posted ages ago but just saw this so thought I would mention it.
  • I used too use Valued Opinions but i found it took way too long to hit the 10 pound mark and ever since i turned 35 i was constantly getting screened out.

    I much much prefer

    opinionoutpost.co.uk
    or global testmarket.com
    uk toluna
    or power of opinions

I have just started doing a new one called mindmover i will let you guys know how that goes.

Sorry I missed your back to work announcement, I am very pleased for you.

Also re the Doctor Who thread, I still prefer the old doctor who's before they started remaking them. Some of the episodes they've come up with have just been ridiculously. Although I will conceded the Weeping Angels are a good addition.

Oh Husky sounds very stressful. Just playing devil's Avocado but could your OH have simply been playing on her tablet to destress after the family visit? You have both had so much on lately. We always hurt those closest to us....
