You sound stressed. Have you managed to get out today at all? Maybe a run in the morning...
It does sound very busy with your partner working so much, and I can see why you'd be worried about going back to work too as it will change your dynamic again. But its a positive step you are taking." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Is your house on the market? It sounds like a very stressful place to live.
I know you said you'd like to go to Alaska, but is there somewhere else in the UK you can go for the time being, or even just a different area in your town where you can get away from your troublesome neighbours?0 -
It is not no we tried too list it over the summer but were told due too our debt levels my partner and me both being on debt management plans we couldn't. Basically the minute you go on a dmp your knackered for selling your place.
It is noisy yes we will next too a family that has 3 kids and the Mam and dad and 3 kids make so much noise it's unreal. Slamming doors constantly, playing music, arguing all hours, they pull up in there cars with music blaring, our house periodically stinks of dope.
The area we live in is noisy too a council estate that we should never of bought on. I will be so happy when I don't live here.debts 16550

Sorry the housing situation is bad
our neighbours on one side ate utter ***** who think they can make as much noise as they like (including DIY at 9:30pm) but knock on the walls if the dogs bark at the postman for 30secs! I cling to my belief in karma, as difficult as it is...
Well done to the dogshope this week goes well for you

I will give some examples of what we have experienced over the years so people can see its not just me over reacting:
The dad and eldest son fighting in the street, the eldest proceeded too put a brick through the front door glass.
Them smoking dope in there back garden music playing full belt.
Them kicking there dog outside and repeatedly not feeding it, this happened too the point it used too break into our garden and steal food from our rabbits. ie carrots out of cages, stuff off the floor etc
The police have a season ticket there are there every two-three months.
The mum got done for benefit fraud as she was mouthing off on facebook and someone shopped her, the dad had come home after working away declaring he had made 3000 quid cash. I think she upset the wrong people. It !!!!es us off as my oh works full time i do, we have no kids together we cant afford too. But they have a nicer house than us better cars etc our taxes pay for it.
Our loft and boiler cupboard repeatedly stink of dope.
They on halloween set off fireworks which have in more than one occasion gone in our garden when our dogs are out.
I could go on and on but i wont it !!!!es me off, i dont want too sound a snob but really certain people should not be allowed too have kids breed etc, there kids now blare music go on the same as there parents. Social learning, the eldest son has a 2 year old son when he found out his gf cheated on him he put all the windows in her parents house.

Husky your neighbours sound like the people that used to live upstairs to us...right down to the constant strong smell of dope (always baffled us - thought it was meant to chill you out, with the amount they smoked we were baffled as to how they ever got as aggressive as they did!) - and it's a flipping nightmare. Currently we have upstairs neighbours who are happy to let their small child run about the place in his shoes at 1am. Wouldn't have been such a problem if it wasn't that the first job they did on moving in was to strip all the carpets out and replace with hard floors...in a first floor flat - I ask you! I do feel your pain and yours too Aspiring.

your neighbour situation sounds terrible. I've had bad neighbours in the past, a similar situation to yours. Luckily I was able to move to get away from them but then again I was renting.
The dog thing must be very hard for you to watch - knowing an animal is not being looked after properly but not being able to do anything about it. Once I found one of my neighbour's children (they had 5 and were expecting another when I left) at 10:30pm wandering up the street alone wearing just a grubby vest. She couldn't have been more than 2 yrs old. I took her back and when they answered the door, they just glared at me, yanked her inside by the arm and smacked her on the bottom. I was just glad it was me that found her when you think what might have happened.
This family had been reported to the social more times than I could count for benefit fraud, drug use, theft, child neglect, but nothing was ever done. They would brag about on fb or in the street and the husband would beat up or intimidate anyone he thought might have 'grassed' on them. I sadly didn't report finding the girl to the social as I knew the family would retaliate against me or my animals. I should have just called the police when I found the girl rather than taking her home.
I hope you hear from your boss soon!0
