    It's finally Friday :D

Had a spendy couple of days..

Last night I bought my mum a small present for her bday from eb@y as she mentioned she wanted it. So that was £3.99 spent.

This morning I purchased a pedicure set from Scholl from Boots, online special with the diamond electronic foot file, foot cream and a revlon nail polish in Cherries in the snow (which is a colour I've looked at in the past and will make a nose toe colour). That was £27.99, but I've already moved the money over from my holiday fund as it's something I will use to prep for that. Can also use it on the bf :D

I have a facial tonight that I paid for a a couple of months ago, so that should be nice and relaxing. Then I'm all set to enjoy the weekend :D Going to the local big shopping centre tomorrow to buy some holiday bits. That will all come out of the holiday fund, should only need to spend on lunch and maybe a little top-up of petrol depending on how my tank looks. Can't wait for payday!!

I had to change my days off around my bday as my bf is doing a referee course and wouldn't you know two of the practice matches are when we were supposed to be away  so I said that's fine we can do it but you can make it up to me with a super duper bday present :p (joking but not really!) Need to look at places to stay in Bath, all seems quite expensive there.

Also booked my days off in November for our yearly city break. We go in November around our annviersary as it breaks up the time between our summer holidays and we do love a city break. Lots of food, walking and alcohol haha. This year we'll be going to Prague, so I shall be looking at the best deals now we have the days off :T

I know it comes across as really spendy, but we budget for these things as we really enjoy the time together and I think travelling is so important. Last year we went to Budapest and we LOVED it. So so cheap, the Christmas market was incredible and it's a gorgeous city with lots of history and character. And it feels romantic to go away on our anniversary even though both of us as a couple aren't really that way inclined! Plus we won't be able to do that kind of thing a lot once we have kids!

Today is a fairly quiet day at work as predicted so a couple of surveys may be on the cards. I will of course keep you posted diary :D

So in the spirit of keeping my diary updated:

    Today has been super spendy.

My pay has hit my account early, so all money has been moved into my various savings accounts, including £400 to my deposit fund. So that means that my count is now £6855.50, or 45.70%! Happy days.

Went shopping with the bf today for holiday bits. I won't detail it here, and I know there are certain items that will go back (including perhaps one spendy pair of shoes that may go back as I can get them cheaper elsewhere :o) but I spent around £150. It's "necessary" in the sense that I want to look good and feel comfortable on holiday etc, but I feel a bit overwhelmed with spending that much, and bringing that many things into my house!! But we're talking Primark and Forever 21 spendy here, not Gucci! :rotfl:

Saying that, one thing I'm grateful for is that my colouring book finally arrived today and I've got stuck in already, love it.

Did some yoga, and the bf is out at a friend's tonight so it's a night in with the cat and my book, which I'm almost finished with.

Really not sure how I'll be with money this month - I have some beauty treatments scheduled for holiday (eyebrows, wax, hair) which I will have to pay for, my spending money will come out of my holiday fund and I'm sure that, although I have most items for my hols, there will be a few extra items to be added. I love holidays but I find them soooo stressful lol. Also have to find £60 for the taxi to the airport (Luton is not our friend :()

All quiet on the eb@y and money making fronts. To be honest the past couple of days I've taken my eye off the ball as I've been stressing over other stuff instead. I'm one of those people I always have to have my mind on something. God forbid everything goes to plan as I don't know where to put my thoughts!!!

Anyway, I guess I will get on and enjoy the rest of my Saturday. Have a good one everyone

    Hello everyone, happy Bank Holiday!

Saturday night I got quiet stressed and down in the dumps....as bf was at a friend's I was at home, ended up colouring most of the evening as I found it therapeutic.

Sunday went for a long run, did 10 miles but as my stomach was playing up I had to walk and run the last 5 or so miles. Although I would prefer to run most of it, my time was actually quiet good at under 2 hours for the 10 miles, so if I have to walk some of the half marathon due to my stomach, my time shouldn't suffer too badly. I'm carrying a lot of stress in my stomach at the moment and it's flaring up my ibs quite badly and making me ill. Need to learn to relax.
I finished my book, and then went round to the bf. Just watched a film, drank some wine and watched some Luther :D

Today came home from the bf, will do some yoga and some general sorting in my room. I've decided there are a few bits I will have to take back to Primark, and it means I will have to hunt again for some more sandals as they are sandals I am taking back.

I'm feeling a bit flat about money at the moment. I seem to go in cycles of worrying about it and then being fine. I think holiday months are always expensive, and it'll be worth it, but it just seems like a lot to come out in one hit. I'm not sure I'm making sense anymore lol.

Anyway, I am going to do my best to use today to destress. I still have some wine left, I always feel better after yoga, I've got another good book to start and I have some colouring. I CAN make the day into a good one, and refresh myself for the work week to begin tomorrow. That's the plan.

    :D

Also to say spends for Sunday night, £10 to my bf for a takeway pizza. I hardly ate all day after my run and I was starvin' marvin'. His parents are on holiday from tomorrow, so I will be spending a lot more time at his while they're away. Will have to get some good healthy food in so we can have some decent dinners.

Well back to work today and what a nightmare already....little brother plus the storm meant I didn't get a wink of sleep last night, so running on very little energy today. Upside is some money became available in paypal, so I moved over the postage costs to my main account, and the rest (£8.16) into my deposit fund.

Today should and could be a NSD (last one for May!) but we'll see how that goes.

The plan for today is to make it through the day without falling asleep at my desk!

To add I made £63.18 in May. I wanted to make £5 a day, so I am slightly short of my target of £155, but that's still money I didn't have at the beginning of the month! :D

Well done on making that extra money, and like you say it's money you didn't have last month :)

Enjoy the rest of the week. Holiday is a coming! :T

    Thanks Ena :D

Well yesterday wasn't a NSD afterall. I placed an amazon order which totaled £44.78. £11 of that was on nakd bars which I buy in bulk for work snacks, I bought another colouring book for £3.76 :o and the rest was on birthday presents for the bf. His bday isn't until December, but as it's only 5 days before christmas I like to get some out of the way earlier in the year. I won't say what it is in case he ever finds his way on here, but I will have to get one of the items personalised - needless to say I'm sure he's going to love it.

I had 11 NSD in May. I'm going to aim for 10 this month as with buying bits for holiday I'm not sure how many I'll actually achieve before I go away. And I don't think I can count days on holiday can I!? I'll be spending some money most days :rotfl:

This morning I checked my amazon wishlist and Stephen King's Misery came down to £1.99 on kindle - his books hardly ever get reduced so I bought that. I know it will get read at some point!

I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed with the spending at the moment, but I know it's all within my budget. Maybe July I will have a spend diet.

I had a massive shop in Tesco last night - £75  but a lot of that was on either food for work, or food for dinners as I am staying at my bf's for the next couple of days. He will give me some money towards that. £30 of thas on a pair of sandals, and a white lace bardot-style dress. I liked the dress in theory but on me it was far too long and baggy, so that's going back and will be £22 back. The sandals I really liked, only £8 and as I'm getting to the point where I'm desperate for sandals they will do nicely.
When I got to my bf's I felt overwhelmed about how much I'd spent...the thing is, I have no enough food for work lunches probably until I go away (might need some more eggs but they're cheap), but it still feels like a lot! I made paella last night, and tonight I will make meatballs and will make my own spaghetti sauce. I chose the meatballs as I can make at least 4 portions, so that should also be another night's dinner for us, or a couple of dinners for bf if he doesn't fancy cooking when I stay at mine. I don't really get to cook when I'm at my mum's and I miss it. At uni I used to cook all the time for myself and have gotten out the habit.

Today *should* be a NSD. I made a small sale yesterday (accepted a BIN) but they haven't paid yet so can't ship it off. Also have an offer on a shirt, but as I'm not at home I don't want to accept it until I can get home and pick it up. I like to ship next day so if I accept today I won't be keeping up to my own high standards :rotfl:

Will be running tonight - I only have 3 runs left until the half - 2 smaller runs and 1 long one. A bit intidmidated still but I know deep down that I can do it. Plus I will feel so good when I've done it! :T
