Oh what a day....colleague was off sick so I was on my own most of the afternoon. Think it's karma for when I left her on her own last week!

Went out with my mum for dinner tonight to celebrate her b'day - was a really lovely meal, and we had a good chat. We hardly ever do it anymore so was nice to get out with her. Spent £21.29 on dinner (I had a 25% off food voucher :money:) and £1.50 on parking as I drove. She even had a cocktail and got a teeny bit tipsy which I loved :rotfl:

Then she poured me a vodka strong enough to blow my socks off. Sipping it atm looking at the time, knowing I should be getting ready for bed but I don't wanna!!!

£28 spent on petrol this morning, and I'm off to a Gap outlet and a M&S outlet with the bf tonight. Hoping to get some new underwear for holiday, and I've never been to a gap outlet before so interested to see what delights it holds! We'll then be going to Pizza Hut for dinner as the bf is obsessed with it.

ETA I do have some money in my paypal account that's become available, but I want to wait until I see what my bank balance is like in a few days before I move it straight to my savings - I have a feeling I'm going to be short on cash :S

Had an eb@y sale today :D Out of the blue but happy with that. Discovered today my I can now access money paid into my paypal straight away - I must've gone over the threshold of where they hold your money for X days while they check the sale goes through ok. Woohoo!

Also been doing some more PA surveys, almost up to £20 so once I hit that I will withdraw, as it means I avoid paypal fees.

Went to the GAP outlet yesterday, spent £40 and got two tops, a cardigan and a pair of comfy joggers to keep at my bf's so I don't have to keep carting my clothes back and forth. Didn't manage to get anything in the M&S outlet though - was going to buy some knickers that had been reduced, but I'm going to have to go shopping for bras on Saturday anyway, so thought I might as well get knickers that I really like, rather than buying some just because they're reduced by a couple of quid!
Had Pizza Hut, but bf paid for that :A

Today has so far been, and should continue to be, a NSD.

This has been my last full week at work before my hols :D Officially a week to go now. Excited!!

    Friday was NSD 8.

Saturday got my hair done so it's fresh for holiday, £47, and went shopping - oops :o bought loads of underwear and knickers so I have fresh stuff for holiday (spent a lot but it's the first time in a year that I've bought any new bras), bought a pair of shoes in the topshop sale and some earrings in New Look.

Bought a one-dish rice kit to have for dinner with the bf Saturday night. Also de-fuzzed his back for him (lol!) and then had some wine. Watched the minions film as well - such a laugh.

    Sunday was NSD 9.

Today I might end up going to Tesco for a few bits, and some adapters for holiday. What is with this rain!!

    Monday was NSD 10.

Spent yesterday evening doing a mani and pedi, and pulling together all my beauty bits for holiday. I've got a wax tonight, and will then be packing my case. Need to get a list together on my phone so I don't miss anything! Then Thursday night I can pack my hand luggage (always have a spare set of clothes in my hand luggage in case my main luggage goes missing!) and go over to my bf's for the 4am pickup! Excited, but I always get stressed right before a holiday trying to get everything together before we go. Once I'm on the plane I can relax!

I will be spending today on the wax, and I might head to Tesco to get some bits for my holiday medication kit (painkillers etc). Not sure I will have time but will see.

Got my waxing done yesterday (feels so good to be smooth again!) so that was £31, and spent £3.25 on a meal deal for lunch today as I didn't have anything else in. The taxi to the airport will be £65 each, so I've got that out in cash to be given to the taxi driver tomorrow.

Got my main bag packed last night, and most of my hand luggage, so just the last bits and pieces to go in tonight before heading over to my bf's. We're being picked up at 4:30am so an early wakeup call!

This might be my last entry for a while as any spending I do out there will be with holiday spending money which I've already got. I get paid while I'm away so I will have to move my money around but that's fine through my app.

I'm excited, but won't let myself be completely so until we're on the plane. I'm worried we'll be delayed - we will be flying over France and although the strike ends 4am tomorrow, I'm sure if other flights have been delayed due to the strikes then our flight will still be affected. Who knows. Fingers crossed! Regardless, this time tomorrow I should be sipping a cocktail round the pool

I am in my overdraft which I don't like, but I will have to catch up over the next couple of months as much as I can. I need to stop worrying about my finances, so hopefully this break will help me break away from it! No offence diary, but you don't always help :rotfl:

Anyway, to anyone that's reading, I shall speak to you in 10/11 days. I hope the rain eases off!!

Thanks LBM! I'm posting from sunny Tenerife, definitely needed this break :)

Just posting quickly so I don't forget- car went through its MOT on Friday, and passed! Woo! It's had one advisory though as it will sooner than later need a new tyre, but that will only cost £60/£70 and it's spends like that that I created my car fund for! So when it does happen I won't be too out of pocket. Just so happy it passed as its 13 years old and while it's not perfect, it's my car and I will be sad when it eventually goes. Plus it's fairly cheap to run and for insurance!
