Well managed 4 out of 5 things so not bad
Had another sale so £1.36 profit. Not at work on Monday though as I have a spa day with my mum (her Mother's Day treat), so will have to go to a PO open on Sundays in town. Bit annoying as I wasn't planning on going, but I pride myself on next day despatch and I think Tuesday is too long lol. It also works as I'm running out of packaging bits due to the flurry of sales I've had this week so will go to the £ shop.
I will be watching Eurovison with the bf and a takeaway curry tonight at bf's sister's bf's house (paid for by bf's sister for looking after Max). Will keep Max company too. See how "mad" he really is.0 -
Morning!
What a load of twaddle Eurovision was! Oh well, there's always next year
Things to do today:

Prolific Academic

Long run
Feed Max the Cat in the evening
Happy Sunday!0 -
Hey,
You are doing so well! Lots of sales and your deposit amount is really going up! What is prolific academic? Is is another one of your good money making ideas?
ThanksTo staying out of debt!

Hi Littlebirdie
Thanks for popping in! And thank you, I am trying my best and my luck seems to be in this week
Prolific Academic is another survey site, but this time it's for surveys that have been posted by students at universities, who are doing studies on whatever topic. It's good in that it pays in money rather than points, and a lot of people find it a really good source of extra income. It's had some trouble this week though so if you do decide to start it don't be put off!0 -
Some money came available in paypal so that's been moved over into house fund.
What did I accomplish today?
PO - done
Pound shop - done - spent £10.05 on packing bits and food for work, and a carrier bagAlso spent £7.45 on a coffee and brownie for the bf and I as he was a love waiting at the PO with me. One cashier and 10 people waiting does not make for a happy Sunday!!!
Swagbucks - started one but they wanted access to my webcam so signed off that lol.....creepy barstewards
Prolific Academic - logged in but no surveys available for me
Read - no but will do later
Long run - 8.5 miles!!! Furthest I've ever gone, and felt 100 x better than my run last week. Confidence is restored.
Feed Max the Cat in the evening - the little beast has been fed and watered
My bf managed to get a laptop for me from his work (they get brought back in and are either distributed or sold on). It's got a lovely big screen and working speakers so I am super happy. Very lucky that he is able to do that for me.
I have a day off work tomorrow as I'm taking my mum on the spa day bought as her Mother's Day present. Think the jacuzzi and steam room will be just the thing I need for my aching legs. Get a manicure and pedicure tooFancy
Managed to upload some more items to eb@y. Not all the items I had in mind, but tbh I've not done much relaxation tonight so going to call it a day and maybe list some during the week. I still have plenty of items up for sale so it's not urgent.
Going to head off before I keep rambling.0 -
Back to reality today
Yesterday was the spa day with my mum - was good until we had our manicure/pedicure treatments. Both of my mum's treatments were poor and the finish wasn't good. She complained in there and by email and basically got called a liar. Not worth the £55 I paidMy treatments were ok and I enjoyed the steam room, jacuzzi and relaxation room but it was a treat for my mum so for her not to get what she wanted out of it was very disappointing. Was nice not to have to go to work though, and spend some quality time together.
I spent £6 on the spa bags, which included the robe (which we had to give back), some slippers and a bag. Mum bought food.
Phoned around for airport transfers for our holiday next month, and it's going to be £122 returnSo much more expensive than last year because we are at a different airport. I can't drive as my car is due its MOT while we're away and so it's getting it's MOT while I'm gone.
I should in theory be able to get through the rest of the week without spending another penny. I have plenty of food for work, petrol, and I don't *need* anything else. Let's see if I can do it!0 -
My trousers sold on eb@y last night, but even with 10 watchers it only had one bid so sold for £1.99
That was packaged and sent off today. Got some new watchers on other items so let's see if any others get sold. I'm feeling a bit flat with eb@y atm. I haven't had any issues *touchwood* but I dunno I just feel like people are really stingy on there with their offers. I have to let my listings run off anyway as I will be on holiday the end of next month and obviously can't send stuff off while I'm away! So I'm going to let everything finish that is already up, and then once I get back from hols, hopefully with a fresher head, I will relist everything and get going again.
Bought a bikini off ASOS as when we are on holiday we are going to a water park. My only bikinis are the string ones, and I have visions of my bottoms flying off when I hit the water! This one looks more secure, so if the bikini fits that'll be good. £21 but from my holiday fund so I don't count it as a spend.
Should be a NSD today. Unless I have to buy dinner tonight. The bf complains about going to the shop even though tonight he will have to walk past one!
Money is SO tight this month. I'm meeting two girlfriends in London on the weekend, and although I really want to see them and we don't often all have a day where we can all go, I can't help thinking how little money I have until next payday
I have opened a savings account for Xmas (and will use the money for bday presents as well). I already have some ideas for my bf. His birthday is 5 days before Xmas so I have to think of everything in advance or I get stuck. His family are also all November and December so it works out a doubly expensive time! Will adjust my budget from next month as I will have all my spending money for hols, so I can reduce the amount going into my holiday fund and spread it across the Xmas fund and deposit fund.
Phew! Ramble ramble0 -
Good morning
Had some money become available in paypal - moved over the postage costs into my everyday account, and moved the "profit" as it were into my deposit fund. Sig's been updated42.98% now, creeping upwards.
Today should be another NSD, all I have to do is feed Max the cat and then run later tonight. The bf and I made a pasta bake last night, so I have the leftovers for lunch. Great running fuel. I also have loads of eggs and rice still so that's my work lunches sorted for the next week or so!! Trying to keep my spends now down as much as possible. There's a colouring book I really want on am@zon, but I also have two books that I preordered that are coming out on Tuesday, so that will be £15. I have £10 on my am@zon account as credit, so it will only be £5 taken out, but I still want the colouring bookMust be good and not get it just yet. Let's see how I am for cash at the end of the month and then maybe I can treat myself

Just wanted to note so far this month I've had 8 NSD (9 if I don't spend today). Need to be better about keeping track!0

You've done really well with eb@y CB but I can totally understand what you're saying about it. I go through a love / hate thing with it and definitely having a break from it helps you forget why it's a hassle! But then I can get back into it if I want the money and space! Have you ever tried Shp0ck or Gumtr33 for selling? No fees and people are local usually. I've sold the odd the thing and 100% profit is mine
Sorry to hear about the spa being a let down. Have you done trip advisor review?
