Fines from the tax man for trying to swindle them out taxes for 2 years and what was it a 4 year ban for drink driving.... Someone needs to get a grip and start being a positive member of society...

I am baffled though why on earth have you dredged this up again after the last one was removed when someone on here actually found you and your well deserved ban on the internet?
Frankly you should never be allowed to take control of a vehicle ever again, you shouldn't even be allowed to ride a donkey let alone drive a car.

If the ban was for more than the bare minimum 12mo - even if it's the bare minimum 3yr for a second offence - then it can be reduced by taking an official alcohol rehab course.

I seem to remember the guy on last time, with a very similar name to the OP, said that he took the ban for his granddaughter.
  • Christ ! all these holier than thou casting the first stone ! you can lose your licence on a pint of beer nowadays ! and before you lot start up again in condemnation I bet half of you are driving on co- codamol or prescription drugs which are a damn sight worse than a pint or two. The same thing go s for all you people driving with out of focus eyes because you re too tight/vain to get new glasses every year.

It's not usually the first pint that makes you lose your licence though it it? A three year ban isn't just slightly over for the first time.

Prescription drugs are another matter until they make you unfit to drive.

The blood-alcohol level hasn't changed (Scotland excepted) since it was introduced in 1967.

Just remind me what the relevant legal test is there, would you?

The legal eyesight test for driving is to read a number plate at 20.5m.

There is now a roadside drugs test in a similar vein to the breathalyser. Evidential blood test is then taken at the police station if roadside is positive.
