Yep that's how I see it. Scotland is going independent. I'm sad as a unionist but I can understand the logic for them!

No point in giving it the "Scotland didn't get the government it voted for" nonsense again.

An vote for SNP is a wasted vote; whether you're Labour or Tory, use your vote to elect a government, not to register a pathetic, one issue, agenda driven protest.

You can't just manufacture illegitimate calls for Indyref from the democratically elected government of Scotland (latest YouGov has no at 57% and yes on 43%. Lowest support for independence since August 2014, remember?) and then keep up the same tired arguments that are losing you the battle after there's been a call for a GE. These actions are likely to lose her party seats in the Scottish Parliament.

Have to disagree Tromking....even if SNP somehow retain all their seats, indyref2 is for Westminster to allow, and IMO to be refused.

June 17 is about electing a UK Government; please can we stop allowing the one issue agenda of the SNP to set the narrative?

Nope; not much chance of that.
See the above YouGov poll for example.
Far too many Scots are far to sensible to continue listening to SNP spin, as you will see in a few months time.
Oh - and I am pro-independence.
Just not pro SNP; they are NOT the way forward.

How does May not have the time or resources to deal with a Scottish referendum which should be pretty much left up to the Scots to decide (David Cameron's words) but find the time and resources for a random out of sink GE?
