How does May not have the time or resources to deal with a Scottish referendum which should be pretty much left up to the Scots to decide (David Cameron's words) but find the time and resources for a random out of sink GE?
No wonder she's the laughing stock of the EU!
You've got the opportunity to give her a kicking in May and in June now.
Make it happen.Don't blame me, I voted Remain.0 -

Make it happen.
I love being a trailblazer.0 -

By calling a GE that she will probably win?
A GE where the SNP will likely lose ground from last time?
A GE where people will rightly be focussed on real issues rather than regional grudge?
Don't get your logic....
...Sorry, it's not logic is it?
It's spin0 -

See the above YouGov poll for example.
Far too many Scots are far to sensible to continue listening to SNP spin, as you will see in a few months time.
Oh - and I am pro-independence.
Just not pro SNP; they are NOT the way forward.
I don't have any time for the SNP either and as a Unionist I'll be gutted if Scotland goes indy but surely the SNP will take full advantage of May calling an election while denying them a second indy vote? They'll talk about her being opportunist regarding her own interests while ignoring the interests of the Scottish people. Combine this with a growing fervour amongst the young for independence and a hatred of the conservative party in England!.....I know there has been a recent surge in Scottish toryism but surely it's not going to cope with what I've described. Add to that the EU will also probably make favourable noises about Scotland having good terms for re-entry into Europe?0 -

100% certain now.
Will you if the SNP don't gain seats? No wonder she's the laughing stock of the EU!
The sensible among us know that "the EU" are somewhat scared of her - and are certainly respectful of her perspicacity.
More so after today, methinks.0 -

No I don't expect big gains for the SNP.Don't blame me, I voted Remain.0 -
Newsflash : Nicola S, Queen of opportunism, accuses PM May of opportunism ! :rotfl:
Do you think over two thirds of Scots will turn out for this GE? I mean, they weren't that interested in the EU ref to turn out in record numbers.0 -

Personally I hope they do but as they have 54 out of 59 parliamentary seats already you've not made too risky a bet there. Say they won 53 seats you'd win your internet bet but would be gut wrenchingly disappointed I'd guess.
I'd take a punt on something like 45 - 49 because I think the SNP peaked a couple of years ago and are on the wane.
How many seats do you think they'll lose?0 -
