Not clueless just engaging with what I want to ... but please keep those insults coming . It's showing you in such a positive light
I see that you've completely rewritten post #8938 where you initially insult me as being clueless...pity you don't have the savvy to realise I've quoted it in post #8940.
So, initiating insults, attempting to conceal same, no courage of your convictions.....
I suppose you're going to say you don't care what kind of light you're seen in here....just as well.
BTW, these aren't insults; these are facts based on your recent posting behaviour.
(I await an angry, incomprehensible response, written in fake Scots patois :rotfl:)0 -

If it's any help mollycat just use the epithet "Jock" in a post and it should be enough for the Plimuff Bird to block you. I did and the resultant lack of interaction between us was most liberating.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -
Yes I did rewrite it ... I read it and thought ach maybe I need to try and be more polite ...
I saw you had quoted me and was OK about it ... I stand by what I said was just attempting to be a bit more civil with you ...
If your insistent that I am clueless then I'm sure you realise your "picking" on a clueless person ... must help you feel awfy big ... as I say carry on0 -

I didn't apologise ... and I'm quite good at it as well
Think I will leave you now to carry on this wee spat on your own though
The sunshine is out and I'm away to walk up a hill

Maybe we spend too much time looking at the independence issue on a short time frame ?
I think that there is every possibility that an iScotland and rUK could follow divergent paths over the mid/long term.
Certainly, regards things like submarine defence, rUK would use the opportunity to rethink the whole approach to submarine development. Boeing's (amongst others) work on unmanned submarine UAV has every chance to change the way we view the next generation.
The key question is what are the major income streams for a future Scotland 20/30/40 years from now, and does it require independence to make these happen?0 -

Scotland already has a very strong position as a country with some major economic revenue streams, but I'd like to think anything is possible and that nothing should curtail us from progressing those income streams.:wall:
What we've got here is....... failure to communicate.
Some men you just can't reach.

I think that people really do underestimate just how much technology is going to decimate the number of jobs available in coming years.
It will be entirely possible for a smaller country with significant investment in automation to outcompete a larger competitor.
The problem is that this will require significant injection of capital, and the SNP are committed to a significant immigration campaign which will also demand serious funding.
So where are your priorities?0 -

Socialist countries are generally very bad ones to invest because you don't get your money back
Why on earth would any tech firm set up in Scotland?
Why would anyone looking to set up a business requiring significant investment do so in Scotland ?Left is never right but I always am.0
