And the response form Shakethedisease is the usual blathering waffle.

However I do know that it means that nothing you post can be taken seriously. Although I am beginning to think that you are nothing more than a Unionist Troll who has dedicated themselves to the task of making Scottish nationalists look like complete and utter idiots.

This aboot made me choak on mah black bun! :rotfl:

Has Enid Blyton been employed by the SNP PR department?

And the smiling farmer said to Nicola and her little chums, "here you are lass, some eggs, bacon, butter, cheese and bread. Camp in my field as long as you want; solve a mystery or two if you wish".

About as believable as the indy stuff posted here.

    Aunt Fanny will be pleased!

EVEL exists because of Scotland and the tragic voting patterns the normal people have allowed the jokers to inflict on us all.
You do know that's Scottish Labour MP's voting as a UK wide party you're talking about don't you ? The SNP only had 6 MP's up until 2015. EVELs been in Tory manifesto's for years.
Never forget who the perpetrators of division are in this sorry escapade. It's not Westminster and it's not the English, Welsh or Northern Irish, and just for balance it's not the majority of Scotland either.
Scottish Labour MP's voting as a UK wide party up until 2015 like I said. A mere region when it suits you, a separate country in others.
The treaty of Union effectively dissolved Scotland and England as nation states. Scotland and England are no more countries than Bavaria or Saxony, it's a quirk of the respective governing bodies that we are allowed provincial teams for Rugby, Football, and probably a few other things.
Well if the Treaty of Union is rescinded via the ballot box and the political union we're in no more.. then we'll both be nation states again which is entirely the point. Nothing lasts forever and you can't really stop it happening either should a majority of Scottish voters so wish it. What would be the point of that ?

I'm inclined to think that with all the hysterics about a second referendum the last few weeks that there are some far too scared to even allow the question to be asked again.. for abject fear of the answer. But it will be asked one way or another before the UK leaves the EU unless May presents the deal Sturgeon has asked for Scotland to them during negotiations ( still no answer on that as yet ) and starts talking about devolving some more real powers.
It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:The Daily ( Labour ) Record is just about as far as you could ever get from an SNP PR dept I can assure you.

  • Can we just get on with it.

The middle classes are turning against Westminster over Brexit. Significant numbers of formerly No voters are now Yes. If Sturgeon can get the fisherfolk back onside with EEA instead of EU it'll be a bigger margin for Indy than the EuRef was for Brexit.

The Maybot is being seen as increasingly arrogant and any moves to block Indyref2 will only push many undecided voters towards Indy.

    Time to call it.

    Let the Mayhem begin.... ;)

Yes, same. But would prefer Article 50 triggered first and May turning down or outright ignoring Sturgeon's proposals first. If Sturgeon goes before that, there will be plenty out there, Scottish Labour, Lib Dems and most of the Scottish/UK press who will splash headline after headline that she hasn't exhausted every avenue. It's going to get bad enough during the next vote without all those 'omg May could've gotten a special deal for Scotland if only Sturgeon had waited' hysterics as well. I could write the Dugdale/Rennie/Daily Record/The Herald/Scotsman/Express/Mail/Telegraph/BBC headlines on that now.

Middle class, businesses, EU nationals, universities, science and research etc etc A whole different ballgame. Fishermen and Farmers didn't expect to be out of the Single Market, they thought they were getting a Norway style deal and are turning too. They've had no guarantees of anything past 2020 and on another thread there was talk about letting them go to the wall rather than subsidise them a la NZ lamb farming years ago. But wait till Article 50 is triggered. May needs to keep on with her current plan ie pretty much ignoring Scotland/NI and Gibraltar because they are 'regions' eh Tricky ;).

It was one link to a relevant point. There were plenty more to choose from, that was just the first that came up. But the Daily Record is far from an SNP PR machine. 'Jittery May' has a certain truthiness about it though.

My mistake. It's already getting bad. Daily Record and The Guardian tomorrow.

The vote was not to leave the EU but cling on to a few bits or maybe go the way of Norway and pay in when they get nothing out. The vote was to LEAVE the EU, anything else was assumption, and you should not assume anything.
