  • Lets also not forget their take on Sewel. Seems a lot of the indy brigades bluff and bluster has been outed. No doubt there will be some new gem's to ponder over in the coming weeks now those arguments have been shot down.

No Tricky Sewel doesn't apply to Article 50. Sewel does however apply in areas which are normally ( currently ) devolved to Scotland and the other devolved parliaments.

    There's a difference.
It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?

...Time to sit back and watch the rest unfold for now.

So much waffle, so little content. :)

Relations with the EU and other foreign affairs matters are reserved to UK Government and parliament, not to the devolved institutions.

I told you that pages and pages ago. :)

It's time to put your delusions to one side, and start facing reality.

I'm well aware it doesn't apply to article 50.

so you are ever loyal to the dithering Nicola:
another kick in the teeth of the people of scotland and yet Nicola dithers and dithers.
Perhaps you need a English person with some iron in the soul to show you the way to Iscotland. Unless of course the democratic will of the scottish people differs.

There will be a vote before Scotland leaves the Single Market. The Sewel Convention/Scotland Act and all that surround it are all grist to the mill.

Nicola's not dithering. She's letting the Tories destroy the Union themselves, just as they did for the the UK/EU one. They'll succeed too. Just need Brexit to be triggered first. Though I see there's some consternation over the 50 amendments the SNP have put forward for the bill.

    As you say yourself.
Of course the MPs from all parts of the UK will have a equal vote
    Salmond agrees.
Mr Salmond, on potential delays to A50 due to SNP amendments, says "we're not responsible for the PM faffing about for the last six months"
    ;)

Yes, that's what Tricky is telling you.

Foreign affairs are reserved to the UK parliament. It is not a devolved matter.

    50 ammendments!!!!!!

The policy of the SNP is to be the thorn in the flesh, to keep on going until gangrene has set in and the infected limb is cut off.

The flaw of course is that limb can not survive without the body. Fortunately the growing majority in Scotland want to remain with the main body.

Edit: In light of a recent post it seems inappropriate to keep this post as it was.

With all of these things that are supposedly bad for Scotland, independence support has not increased, it has in fact decreased from June 2016, "but it's the same level as in 2014!", not like that helps you, "but Alex started lower, this time Nicola will take us over the line!", not with lies, the Scots are waking up to the BS. The SNP will be out of power across the country soon enough.

Just leave this here for Shakey to digest re: Salmond and Cherry-picker-of-data.

    https://whytepaper.wordpress.com/2017/01/22/trading-places/

Here's some more lies and deceit debunked regarding the NHS which we were talking about recently:

    https://whytepaper.wordpress.com/2017/01/08/data-without-information-now-with-data/

The lies are everywhere in the indy brigade, the sheer scale and frequency of it makes the Remain campaigns claims of financial armageddon and military conflict look pathetically tame by comparison.

This is why the cause will always lose. What sort of person do you have to be to believe this tripe?
