I was just wondering why you responded to it if you had no idea what it was. Did you just pick an answer at random?Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.0

errrr.. no
It's just a convenient vehicle for the SNP as far as I can see.
Scotland may well get indy in the future and it may work but to lie in such a fashion to the folks there because they feel they have leverage is beyond contempt.
Scotland is unlikely be a member of the EU anytime soon.Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.0 -

But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?0 -

Errrr no. The SNP is simply the vehicle of 45% of the Scottish electorate who wish independence and/or also those who do not want to leave the EU.
You attribute to the SNP what you really should instead be attributing to those who vote for them, or those who want independence. Which I have to say is the usual mistake people make in these threads. It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.

Is the legal advice (re EU) the SNP sought before the last referendum still valid?Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.0

Is the legal advice (re EU) the SNP sought before the last referendum still valid?Salmond: listen to Scotland over Brexit or face indyref2
ALEX Salmond has warned Tory ministers that a failure to respect a Holyrood vote against Brexit would lead to a second independence referendum. Salmond told the Sunday Herald that Westminster "can either respect the wishes of Scottish people or face indyref2", as the SNP's Brexit war with Theresa May's government intensified.
The dramatic intervention followed a landmark court case on whether MPs can vote on leaving the EU before Article 50, the formal process of leaving the EU, can be invoked.
And he and Sturgeon are no more bluffing now, than they were in 2011.
You'll note that I'm posting this as it appeared in todays Sunday Herald. I make no claim other than in my opinion Salmond isn't bluffing and neither is Sturgeon. When it comes to Scotland and referendums neither one of them is known to, to date anyway. Scottish Greens seem pretty keen to go too ( hold balance of power in Holyrood ).Meanwhile, Green MSP Ross Greer said a Holyrood vote against Brexit “would make an independence referendum, on our own terms, more likely”, as he wrote to the First Minister calling on her to reject Westminster's “indyref sabotage”.
Greer said: “In light of reports that the Westminster government is considering denying an independence referendum until we’ve been forced out of the EU against our will, I’ve written to Nicola Sturgeon to ask that the SNP joins Green MSPs in voting against the triggering of Article 50 if we are able to do so.
"Inevitably that would make an independence referendum, on our own terms, more likely."It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?0 -

the only thing that will make a iscotland referendum campaign more likely, is polls showing support of round 60%
the rest is the usually dishonest SNP nonsense0
