Exactly. It's not personal but you can't trust Sturgeon because she intends to use the Brexit issue to advantage a minority section of the UK.
You can't trust the SNP because they will use any issue to advantage the process towards independence.
It's Brexit today, tomorrow it might be Trident, the day after the lack of winter daylight in Scotand.
Scots shouldn't trust them either. Independence trumps the best interest of Scots every day of the week.0 -
Just reading through the draft bill just now, can't see any real surprises as of yet0

Just reading through the draft bill just now, can't see any real surprises as of yet
what dos it say
does it say
'the SNP will wait until the polls show about 60% support for iscotland before actually trying for a referendum?
Until then, the SNP will do as much harm to the UK as possible'
and does it mention what currency an iscotland will use on I day0 -
Salmond on LBC yesterday:"I wasn't worried about calling a referendum at 28% support, Nicola Sturgeon won't be worried at 45%"
I wish the Scots all the best in seceding from an increasingly xenophobic little england, where EU nationals are regarded as 'negotiation cards', refugees need dental checks, Poles are being kicked to death in the streets and companies who employ foreign nationals need to be 'named and shamed'.
Get out while you can and good luck!Don't blame me, I voted Remain.0 -

you total hypocrite
-you totally support control of immigration
-you voted to discriminate against the peoples of all black african
-you totally support the vile 27 who are using UK citizens as 'negotiating cards'
-it was a tragedy that the Pole was murdered but to use this for political point scoring is evil but entirely in character
-you totally support the european requirement for foreigner and natives to register with the local authorities every time they move house0 -
Given that Scottish delicacy of deep fried McCain pizza, I would be worried if Scotland were indeed at the heart of Europe though.
A Canadian company with their UK headquarters in Scarborough. They may decide to move their headquarters North of the border, post independence, if what you claim is true
One thing that seems clear from the last few posts is that in general, those from the South don't trust the Scottish government and those from Scotland don't trust Westminster, May or the UK press media.

There's also plenty of companies who have gone on record about moving their business south because that's where the majority of their business is. Why ignore these in your platitudes?
There's plenty of people who trust the UK institutions in Scotland, just you, SNP supporters and other independence supporters have issue with Westminster purely because it's in the way of independence. All the facts, figures, statistics and politics (representation) point to Westminster and the UK being a better deal for Scotland. But independence supporters don't want to hear that, they'd rather bang on about Trident and not wanting nuclear material in Scotland whilst the SNP support the continuation of nuclear power in Scotland, or how the single market is an important market to Scotland and the UK is not - which is an absolute lie.
If, as I've asked from you several times, you want to discuss factual information and evidence and go from there I'd love to. If you're only going to continue to spew irrational feelings everywhere there's not much point in being on a sub-forum with the word "Debate" in the title.0 -

Is there any reasonable evidence as to why I should trust the SNP?
They have no long term interest in the prosperity of England.
That's fine, but we should be equally honest down here.
I'm fine with the SNP pursuing the independence option, but the timing needs to meet the interests of the majority of the UK. I would not support the derailing of what could be key Brexit negotiations for a self-centred party which does not even concern itself with the needs down here.0
