Maybe this will give you a more varied view of what people who support independence think Tricky. There's also a fair few no supporters posting in the comments too

I think only two comments mention 'England' or 'English'. Don't know how to convince you that anti English sentiment isn't part of the general conversation, and it is something I would contest strongly.
Anyone got a link to the guy with the 'Scottish by choice' tshirt and the England flag?0 -

so three lots of people
-first lot have no interest in scotland or whats best for the people of scotland, only concerns with the best interests of EU nationals
-second want more money spent of benefits
-third anti trident
but no mention of the english
pity the people of scotland don't seem convinced0 -

My wife is Ukrainian, because of that I've many friends of eastern European origin. I'd like to retain the freedom of movement too. But you now say that anti English Scottish nationalists only exist if I tell everyone I'm a racist?
That's one of the best yet.
In fact what I was pointing out was that contrary to your belief that it can't be both ways, Scottish nationalism does have an ugly underbelly that the moderates appear to tolerate. And on that note I may have voted to leave but I hope all the hate crime and inciting is prosecuted.
That sounds awfy like am no a racist cause I know people from a different country and am married to a European.... but you lot are racist cause you don't like English people even though some of you are English or married to them ... Anna have it both ways tricky ...
Tricky ... I don't think you are racist ... I know in the yes movement we do have some racists ... just like in the leave movement there were some racists ...
I think maybe though u need to understand independence for Scotland isn't about race ... so calm doon0 -
I have personally found that it is British nationalists who are more concerned with where people were born. I still don't understand why Effie Deans thinks Angus Robertson's parentage is of any interest

Scotland has never had a better case for independence and if Sturgeon doesn't go for it now, it will never happen.
It is also an excellent opportunity to define Scottish Independence as separate from English Leave voting racists and xenophobes.
The EU will welcome indy scotland with open arms also. I don't understand what the SNP are waiting for. A burning bush?0 -
...
The EU vote is a complete red herring. The SNP couldn't give a fig about the EU - they're just glad Scotland voted in a different way to the rest of the UK.
The turnout of Scottish voters was lower than the rest of the UK, so perhaps they aren't that passionate about Europe as the SNP claim.
They claim to be passionate about migration too, but conveniently ignore the fact that they attract very few migrants.0 -

I don't think Nicola will go for it until support seems consistent for winning.
Whilst there's still so much uncertainty surrounding brexit I think it would be a foolish move to call a referendum soon.
Another loss would be fatal.0 -
It's the weather ... the weather here is mince ... I don't blame people for not wanting to move here ... sheesh were looking forward to moving away.
There will be other reasons ofcourse like midges, and no doubt the drinking culture etc ... I do agree though we need to make the country more attractive for people to want to move to, during this holiday I heard a few Scottish accents but many more different ones, was great to hear and we ( hubby and I ) chatted to many people, they all loved Scotland for a holiday but none that I spoke to could see themselves moving here0 -

Why would PM May welcome the distraction of a Scottish indy ref during the Brexit period?
Do you think having multiple parallel referendums at the same time is a good thing?
What about having indy refs in Scotland; UK; France; Germany; and Hungary at the same time. Sure...why not. It'd be a right old catfight in the negotiations.0 -

Taken in the context of people who engaged and actually voiced their opinion you can't argue that 62% voted Remain. Very different to how England/Wales voted.
Why do you think we don't attract so many migrants? Job opportunities or something else?0
