It's the YouGov poll we were talking about earlier in the thread

I thought it would be but wondered if there had been another poll.Union, not Disunion

I am sorry if I have reposted this but Stuart Hosies discomfort is a pleasure to see and deserves to be shown to anyone who may have missed it.
It is a plain illustration of the poor quality of SNP politicians.
We are being led by fools.

Brexit has changed all of this in the most profound of ways by removing the EU as a guarantor of how subsidiarity will apply within the UK. Added to this, from a Westminster point of view there are no UK-wide parties any longer. Having a single MP in Scotland – and very little is like to change there – is no more politically relevant than having none at all.
The Tory party in the UK’s parliament is all about the priorities of English Tory MPs. And, guess what? The same is true of Labour and the Lib Dems. All of these parties have ‘discounted’ Scotland – they all assume the SNP will continue to hold almost all the Scottish voting power at Westminster and so internal power-brokering and leadership contests are only truly concerned with the opinions of England’s and Wales’ representatives.
In other words, outside the EU context in which the UK’s present constitutional structure has been carefully put together, and in the face of the non-existence of any party with proper UK-wide representation at Westminster, the UK parliament is evolving into the English legislature officials and politicians have feared since devolution began in earnest.
Am no fan at all of the author. However...harsh, but true. Full article at link too long to post. But he's right. Neither the Tories, Labour or Lib Dems have vested interests in Scotland anymore at a Westminster level. Nor does Scotland since their representatives wish to leave it.
How long will it hold...It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?0 -

Perhaps it is time to "seal the deal". Thats if Scots Nationalists want to inflict instant poverty on the Scottish people of course.
As per usual you confuse the voting patterns of Scots in a nice safe Westminster and Holyrood election with the ramifications of Scots going nuclear and voting for independence in an indyref.
Have you also forgotten the wholesale temporary abandonment of the SNP cause by the Tartan Tories outside the central belt in the last indyref? How long before the former Labour voting Tory hating 'Jonny-come-lately's' to the SNP cause in the central belt start driving away those more traditional SNP voters I wonder?
As politics in Scotland becomes more binary you should expect the only party to dine out on its Unionist credentials to make sweeping gains in the future. The Tories becoming the official opposition at Holyrood is just the start in my opinion.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -
Scottish nationalists must be writhing in agony over this:

An institution they want to get rid of trying to achieve the very thing that will deny indy2.0 -

UKIP should rebrand as the English Independence Party too. It has no weight in Scotland; Wales has it's own party.
Then maybe we would get some more honest politics, where people in England are asked if they want to be in an union with Scotland, not just assumed.0 -

If the UK doesn't leave the EU do you think the SNP won't want independence any more?
For the SNP all roads lead to Indy 2.0.0
