Alex Salmond has been cleared of sexual assaulting nine women while he was Scotland's first minister.
A jury found the former SNP leader not guilty on 12 of the sexual assault charges facing him, while another was found not proven.
There is now no chance of the Salmond case 'bringing down the SNP' as so many seemed to be hoping for.
Cleared of all charges. And he resigned from the SNP anyway.

Salmond has however made marriage vows and has very clearly not honoured these.
Politics aside, ask yourselves whether Salmond is the kind of person any female would want to be left in a room alone with?
