She's failed by her own standards and yet she stays on...and on!

Yup. What other options do we really have? Labour is London centric and barely exists in Scotland now, Lib Dems are essentially Tories and barely exist in Scotland. That leaves the Tories.

Can anyone say with a straight face that they'd prefer Johnson to Sturgeon? He might deny any failure blind but he's failed at pretty much everything he's tried so far.

Well, still, plenty of people on this thread have trouble remembering that people don't vote for the best party but they vote for the least bad. And in Scotland, where I travel to regularly, that means a small range of parties not much reported on down here in south England where tri- home nation parties like Labour, the Tories and the LibDems dominate the media.

Maybe this election will give some food for thought for the Eton-worshippers. Let's see.

I think its deff a case for least bad in this election, I know many that will be holding their nose and voting snp, I know if less than 3 voting tory ( unless they aint admitting it) and very very few labour voters, not on lib dem voter.

Once again a lot of Scots will hold their nose and vote SNP but Nicola shouldn't rely on their votes for 2021 if she doesn't sort this mess out shortly, patience is waning for many

As part of Scotland's gradual descent into borderline sectarian binary politics then the choice is now going to be that stark, why wouldn't it be?

2021, yeah I agree if there hasn't been a referendum or at least major moves towards one/court etc. The Yes vote is splitting badly now between the SNP and a very large portion of grassroots who don't agree with some SNP party policies/Wings followers.

No referendum by 2021 almost certainly means a new party will be formed ( whether thats something one agrees with or not it's there). The impact of that on Holyrood politics is unknown as yet.
It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?

I would suggest that the Scottish government thinks afresh about how the police service is scrutinised and held to account and how, or if, a better separation between politics and policing, and indeed between the police service and those who oversee it, can be achieved.
The whole point of the single Police Scotland was to make it easier to control by the (SNP) government, the SNP cannot bear anything that is not totally in their control.

The wheels are coming of the SNP bandwagon...they have failed for 10 years.
I await Salmond's Court case with interest.
