How much of our money did they waste on that unworkable idea ?

    interesting day today in court
  • BJ ‘disagrees’ with the Supreme Court. Ok ‘the father of lies’ vs unanimous decision of our top 11 justices. Hmm, tough one. Let’s thank heaven our judiciary are not political appointments so they can judge “without fear or favour”.

Labour party vote on a show of hands at the conference rather than a vote count. Corbyn survives another day. Politics is little more than a game......

I don’t disagree but a you might also remember Labour conferences in the 80’s when they were determined to implode. Having said this not even close to the Supreme Court shocker.

Hardly a shock. The Court has merely provided clarity. Sets a precedent for the future. Parliament is unlikely to progress matters in the additional time available.

If that is what you think fine but most commentators regard it as ‘hugely significant’.

Opposition parties will still oppose a General Election. The fundamental issue remains.
