Of course it does. There's a collective interest from a number of parties in keeping it going.0 -
Britain wasnt a founder member of the EU. The EU will continue on happily without the UK0

Looks like the moment we've all been waiting for has arrived as the the Kippers head back from the Tory party to the Brexit Party..Westminster voting intention:
LAB: 28% (-5)
CON: 22% (-5)
BREX: 21% (+4)
LDEM: 11% (+5)
GRN: 6% (+2)
UKIP: 4% (-)

But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?0 -
Change Party absent? You do wonder how the Labour party vote is going to stand up. JC's totally unelectable.0

Aye I saw her post ... got me quite angry to be honest, she has no intent on naming the date any time soon, hasn't even asked for her section 30 order yet , so she is teasing all the hard workers out there campaigning for no other reason than to troll and control them. I am going off her even more than i thought i could0 -

IMO she has, and has no choice but to, hold horses until Theresa goes and her replacement is in place.A sect 30 is a non starter, and I'm increasingly of the opinion IF there is legal action on a second ref, it won't be to ask for one. I think we're all coming at this from the wrong angle now. Imo if there's a court case, it'll be based on the rights of the Scottish people themselves and nothing whatsoever to do with a Sect 30.On 4 July 2018, the House of Commons officially endorsed the principles of the Claim of Right, agreeing that the people of Scotland are sovereign and that they have the right to determine the best form of government for Scotland's needs.
Suits Nicola for now to go along with the Sect 30 thing. But imo would be a huge mistake to name any date while Theresa is still clinging on. She does however need to get a grip of the recent in-fighting between grassroots/Cherry/McAlpine etc .. and those that are going down this wishy washy 'get rid of Wings/Cybernats/softly softly/right on/woke/progressive/happy clappy twitter stuff. Folks are fed up watching and waiting and it's starting to show.
Nicola's not immune from being replaced.. and if she is it'll be with a proper angry firebrand. Someone who'd never put up with staying quiet on Westminster power grabs/BBC Scotland coverage or hanging about waiting for any Sect 30. Time Nicola/Angus/Alyn/Blackford and all the high heid yins started getting real and back in touch with folks that put them there.*
* These folks will always vote yes for those comforting themselves that a split in the SNP means indy is any less likely. It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.

I agree now is certainly not the time to call one, I think it would be a huge mistake if she did, but I dont think she should be trolling the yes camp either.
I did wonder when the reason for the court case last year would come into play and I think your right it will be something like that.
But right now I think the high heid yins in the SNP had better start making wiser decisions ...
And for everyone that cant stand the idea of indy, Shake is right ... all the infighting within the SNP and the other factions will not change the drive for independence, for a long time now many people have been voting SNP whilst holding their noses, once indy is achieved there will be a mass exodus, and I think Nicola knows this and is trying to hold onto power,0 -

Similar deposit return schemes operate successfully in several European countries. They probably also had naysayers harping on about size and cost, but somehow they made it work and have recycling rates topping 98-99%.
You're saying Scotland should look at rUK and take a leaf out of our abysmal recycling record? Now that's utterly crazy.
Kudos to the Scottish Government for this initiative.
As for recycling rates in the UK, in 2017 (seems to be the latest figures available):
England was 45.2%, compared with 46.3% in Northern Ireland, 43.5% in Scotland and 57.6% in Wales.
It would appear that Scotland need to pull their socks up a bit on this, admittedly we all need to increase the recycling rate but this is not something for Scotland to be proud of.What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
So in the same way as the EU without Britain is still the EU, the UK without Scotland is still the UK, and continues to own everything the UK owns.
There is no "Scottish" oil or gas. It's UK oil and gas and iScotland would be out of the UK.
Meaning there's no free money from England or the North Sea.0
