The Nats have been shown over and over again to be wholly incompetent, and that is why with the current administration independence is and will remain for the foreseeable future pie in the sky.
No it isn't.
Farmers voted to get rid of CAP and EU subsidies, they're just going to have to face the reality of what they voted for a bit sooner than they thought I guess. They've a bit of a brass neck bleating on about not getting EU subsidy payments these days.It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?0 -

Yes, that's right Tricky. After the Brexit negotiations are concluded but before 2021. As Massie points out a possible delay of 6 months to a year at best. If you're lucky.*She upheld the policy that a referendum should be held at the end of the Brexit process.
* By stressing the mandate to hold a referendum within the current Holyrood parliament, she strongly hinted the vote should take place before May 2021.
* She gave a clear timetable (autumn 2018) for making a decision on the timing of a referendum, which removes the concern that today's decision is going to later mutate into an 'indefinite postponement'.
You're buying into your own spin and wishful thinking. But that's a good thing since the media are also doing so taking the pressure off the SNP.... For a year this whole Brexit thing in Scotland now puts Davidson's face on TV instead. Who cannot now keep pointing to an immediate referendum as a distraction. Folks like you have 100% bought into the 'postponed ref' line already. What a shame....It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.

It won't happen.
I was right about the GE result, I was right about any potential referendum not happening before Brexit is concluded and I suspect it'll be in the next Scottish parliament when it could possibly happen but by then the SNP and Green alliance that brought about your section 30 request will be long gone.
I suspect I'll be correct about it not happening too. I guess we'll need to wait until late 2021 to find that out.0 -
