The internal politics and wranglings don't interest me. Just the end service given to the public which seems to be holding up very well comparatively with other police forces around the UK. The same is true of the Scottish NHS, which is currently regarded statistically and via patient satisfaction as currently the best NHS service in the UK.
You always ignore these sorts of stats and figures and this bores me rigid when we're debating something. You also seemed totally unaware of both Scottish Conservative and Labour support of centralising the Scottish Police force <---- Newsflash ! When you're trying to use something as a stick to beat the SNP with, make sure all the other Scottish parties didn't vote for it too. It tends to make you look a little bit silly when carping about it.
Get back to me when you have something interesting to say, or when you and all the others here have managed to chase ISTL off by piling on every single post he makes and all the infantile name calling. Sad !
Not chasing anyone off here, waiting on a response to the statistics ISTL wanted to see. Do you think they asked me to find the stats as they thought they couldn't be found? Were they not in the propaganda pamphlets?0 -

What statistics TT83?
When we last communicated it was after a failure to consider the wider context on a couple of issues.TrickyTree83 wrote: »Do you think they asked me to find the stats as they thought they couldn't be found? Were they not in the propaganda pamphlets?
I've certainly seen quite a few propaganda pamphlets through the door.
5 or 6 pamphlets from the Conservatives
1 pamphlet from SNP
1 pamphlet from Lib Dem
0 pamphlet from Labour (paper candidate)
:wall:
What we've got here is....... failure to communicate.
Some men you just can't reach.

Basically, everything you said you thought was true was not true.
The post I made containing the statistics was in direct response to your reply regarding the "wider context". Painting the picture for you properly rather than using conjecture.0 -

Ok, I'll have a look into that when I have the time:wall:

The big difference of course is the SNP implemented it and made a mess of it eg not even sorting out the VAT. Like most things the SNP touch it all turns to dust at the end of the day.
Your party is destroying our country one little piece at a time.
The standout being that these days the party in power in Holyrood doesn't just sit back and agree with whatever policies come out of London, even if not in Scottish interests, like Scottish Labour did. To the extent that even the other Scottish parties are now unable to differentiate between what is Westminster and what is Holyrood politics anymore as we've seen with this election. So dominant now is Holyrood in every day lives most voters now don't know the difference either. Things have come a very long way since 1999.
If there are single issue parties to be had at the moment it's Scottish Conservatives and Labour. No to indy ref. That's it. Dugdale will go after this election. Corbyn is the only hope left for the union as the Labour party was the only thing holding it together. You should be hoping for a Labour win on Friday. EU negotiators must be laughing their socks off at May's strong and stable campaign right now. They're not going to take her seriously after this.
Maybe Sturgeon will do better ?Voters back Sturgeon over Brexit talks
The majority of voters agree with Nicola Sturgeon and her demands for Scotland to have a seat at the Brexit negotiating table, according to a new poll.
The first minister has been calling on Westminster to allow a representative of the Scottish government to accompany its negotiators in Brussels. Over the past few days she has tied that demand into her campaign and has claimed that she would have a mandate to demand a full role in the Brexit talks if the SNP gains a majority of seats in Scotland in the general election tomorrow
48% say the Scottish Govt should be there no matter what. Another 10% if the SNP win most seats in Scotland. It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?0 -

Number 2 - Educated and civilised............not under the Nats. Merchanise from the independence rally.........classy!0

Number 3 and 4 - Nothing is private with the SNP............except to dupe the Scottish people.

Number 5 - The named person scheme............big brother is watching you.....there is no private life
