Having representatives of the devolved administrations on the team (government and opposition perhaps) is maybe nice and inclusive but the trouble is that the SNP cannot be trusted to be genuine team members.
All their actions since the Brexit vote reveal their true colours.
Sturgeon would push the rest of the UK under the bus if it mean't that the Separatists could flag down the Nationalist taxi.
You could perhaps involve some of the more intelligent SNP MPs if they show balance, but they all act like the Borg.0 -

No one's harassing anyone. You complain about posters not answering your questions when you yourself fail to answer questions that are inconvenient to your agenda. You talk about anti-SNP bloggers presenting opinions as facts when you do exactly the same yourself.
I'm simply calling you out for the hypocrite that you are.0 -

I predict a big Tory majority. It doesn't really matter where the seats come from. Scottish Tory seats carry the same value as those in Wales etc.
Can you tell us your prediction for the next Indy Ref date in Scotland?0 -

Which is it then, how can the Scottish electorate believe a word she says?[/QUOTE]
It would be very easy to show Theresa May and Ruth Davidson change stance on numerous occasions.
Such as : -- The position on the rape clause
- The position on NHS prescriptions
- Her position on blocking a 2nd independence referendum
Its encouraging that she is coming round to the position have had for a long time.
As always, the SNP leading the way:wall:
What we've got here is....... failure to communicate.
Some men you just can't reach.

What's yours ?
Weren't you saying Sept 2018 a few months back?
Now you sound less sure, more woolly.
Come on- I don't expect an exact date ... within a couple of months.
But...if you insist on your descriptions I predict it will be "later rather than sooner"0 -

Perhaps less easy to show than it is to show you that independence is Brexit times 4 if things transpire as Nicola wants you to believe.
You believe the lies you want because they affirm your beliefs. The level of deceit shown by pro Indy support is akin to that of those who belong to flat earth cults.
When the SNP tell you Brexit is bad because Fraser of Allander say 120,000 jobs are at risk but fail to publicise themselves that independence is worse because the same institute of economists they apparently trust for their propaganda say 500,000 are at risk from dreams of Alba how can anyone in any corner of the world take the SNP or any of you Indy posters on here seriously?
You're caught in lies and you've got no way out, so you're now doubling down and ignoring the evidence you don't like.
Prove me wrong and let's see one of you acknowledge that the risk to jobs and trade from independence is 4+ times higher than that of Brexit. At least people will know which of the pro indy posters they can converse with in a rational evidence based manner instead of ignorant speculation.0 -

The prediction has always been the same going by May's own timetable when Article 50 was triggered and assuming the negotiations take two years. Then a referendum/vote will be held when Brexit goes to the EU parliament for ratification by all the other 27 countries. In short whenever the other EU countries get to vote the final deal through, so will Scotland on if it meets voters satisfaction.
If May walks out of the negotiations and there's a fair chance she will. As far as I'm aware (posted the link up a few days ago) then the Scots Govt are in the process of making contingency plans for that scenario too. However, Sturgeon is following May's timetable for the moment. No predictions necessary on dates since we already know the UK will be leaving by March 2019. There will be six months or so beforehand where the other countries vote on the deal. When the other countries do, so will Scotland. ( Sept 2018 - March 2019 ).It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?0 -

It's a free forum and I can respond or choose not to respond to whom I choose in terms of answering questions the same as anyone else here. I do not need to justify my responses to you or anyone else as long as they follow forum rules. Got it ? Now move on.
I'm sorry that you feel that way but I'm not going to change my posting style under the threat that someone might complain to MSE. If I see evasiveness or hypocrisy, I'll show it up for what it is and whoever the poster is.
As it happens, I respect your position as a committed Nat whether I agree with you or not but I'd respect you more if you were more willing to engage with other posters who ask you questions.
I asked you twice the other day whether you agreed that Sturgoen lied about the letter from Angela Leadsom to the Scottish Fishermen Federation but you didn't answer. Why not? And please don't tell me again that you didn't see my post because I'm quite sure you did.0
