No, no. This is a scurrilous lie put about by people who refuse to believe that Scotland's future lies outside the Union and will stop at nothing to discredit the SNP. The 'activists' were clearly Toary plants pretending to be nationalists.
Edited by shakey.
What Shaka describes is the "New Scotland".
Things like the above happen all the time.
The silent majority know that they need to keep a low profile if they know what is good for them.
On Referendum night my 92 year old MIL was visited by at her home by SNP activists, insisting she accepted a lift to the polling station.
On this occaision refusal did cause offence.
Frightening experience.
People who post here probably think the injection of fear, hostility and division into scottish society is a price worth paying to "get rid of the Tories".
I don't.
What nationalism has done to our country is a disgrace; the irony is that they would say it is people like myself who are unpatriotic.0 -

You Nats do NOT speak for the majority and the sooner you remember that the better.
Go out and achieve 50%+ of the popular vote in the GE then you can argue you have a mandate until then behave yourselves, you are an embarrassment to Scotland!
(What do you care anyway? You are a home counties Nat benefiting hugely from the Union. You exemplify what is great about the Union yet you argue against it, your just a hypocrite)
Spitting venom at 'nats' is a waste of your time. Entrenched Yes or No voters are just that. Entrenched. It's Labour No voters you need to reach now and convince them of the merits of staying in the Union with a Conservative Govt about to undertake a hard Brexit.
Davidson is running very scared of those kind of voters right now isn't she...Ruth Davidson to announce Tory U-turn on prescription charges
The about-turn, which will be unveiled in Davidson’s manifesto this week, will be seen as an attempt by the Tories to rid themselves of their “nasty” party image. Davidson’s opponents will portray it as the Tories trying to deflect attention from the controversy over UK government policies such as the two-child benefit cap and its associated rape clause.

..Supporting SNP implemented policies whatever next.It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?0 -

Happy to hear your views on what this is an example of ?'Why don’t you f*** off back to Scotland': Tory MP blasts schoolgirl wanting Scottish independence
The girl is understood to have been so upset, she went home and complained to her Scottish National Party-supporting father. He contacted education chiefs and has received a written apology.
In your own time..It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.

I knew you would deny or minimise what we all know is going on in Scotland.
You don't even care what Scotland has become; and would become if you had your way.0 -

I can see what is happening all around me. Which isn't anything much and the picture you paint isn't one I recognise. What I do recognise though is union parties getting more and more desperate. It's slowly dawning on people like you that winning Tory seats in this forthcoming GE isn't going to stop or change anything which follows from Holyrood afterwards re a request for a second referendum. That and the constitutional can of worms it's going to set in motion when it's refused.
Davidson is now out there and exposed. Frantically u-turning ( like she does on everything else ) on things like prescription fees. People don't like flip flopping politicians like that, it's not strong or stable. And for all her and May's 'send a message about indy ref' they still could only garner, yes a surge.. but one that still left them a distant second to the SNP. And she's still go to sell a Brexit to 62% of the country who didn't want it last year and a Conservative Govt to dispairing Labour voters who've voted all their lives against one.
What's happening to your country is politics and a significant amount of people voting at the ballot box for something you do not like or agree with. Sure you'll get the likes and the back slaps here where Scottish voters like me are outnumbered perhaps 20 to 1. But the reality in Scotland is that you don't outnumber voters like me, and that probably scares you a bit. I understand that.
However, these voters like me aren't taking to the streets no matter how much you want it so in order to justify your fears. 99.9% of us are just ordinary people living ordinary lives. I'm a 5ft tall mum of 5 and a grandmother. It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?0 -

For a start this incident happened in Somerset which is stretching it a bit - it is rude and bad mannered but hardly the intimidation we are seeing in Scotland.

Clutching at straws there shakey.Tories tipped to oust SNP deputy leader Angus Robertson and take 11 seats in General Election0 -
As well as this.Nicola Sturgeon has admitted for the first time that an independent Scotland might not immediately seek to rejoin the European Union.
Despite calling for a new independence referendum over Brexit, the First Minister confirmed Scotland may need a “phased” approach to becoming a full EU member.
She said that “by necessity”, in the event of a vote to break-up the UK, Scotland might have to pursue membership of the European Free Trade Association (Efta), whose members include Norway and Iceland, before achieving full EU membership.
What have unionist posters on here been saying for so long now?
And remember, this if (and so far that is a very big if ) she can persuade a majority for independence

I think you will find I do!!
Google 2014 Independence Referendum result.
And we all know support has dropped since then.
Your posts are propaganda pure and simple; and it's not working, granny or no granny.0 -

Why would I need to clutch straws Shaka ? What for ?
It suits you to try and revive the old 2014 vile cybernat and separatist narratives that were around back then. But the police reports of anyone charged with any sort of violence or intimidation on the pro-indy side are non-existent. You want to insinuate that Scotland is some sort of violent tinderbox waiting to go off then prove it. But you can't, relying instead on local newspaper coverage which will ultimately come to nothing.
You were happy enough to ignore suspicious packages with 'SNP out' written on them a week or so back. Your in your face double standards are telling and slightly amusing.
So the Tories win 5 or 10 seats in June. What comes next do you think ? Do you have any sort of idea ?It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?0
