It seems to be simply to block the SNP at every opportunity.- To block policy on Education
- To Block policy on Health
- To Block policy on Infrastructure
Ruth comes across as simply a Westminster puppet with 0 policies for Scotland
So what does she stand for?

"Blocking the SNP at every opportunity" is a bad thing because?0 -
So what's your personal preference on currency then?
Particularly, with the need for control. For example, I do not know the costs that would be involved in setting up a new currency. Do you?
Hamish has stated before he firmly believes in the Euro, so is that your preferred option from the off?
I really have no preference.
The denomination is of no significance to me.
I understand that there will be deeper underlying reasons for and against, but as a man on the street, I don't really care.:wall:

The Scottish SNP as pointed out numerous times currently have no clear mandate.
Yes you are.
As also pointed out numerous times, the SNP does have a mandate.- The had it in their Scottish Election Manifesto and raised it numerous times in political debates and were duly elected in the Scottish Elections of 2016.
- They also had a democratic vote within Holyrood which was successful
Your ignoring these very clear positions which provide the mandate.
Do you not believe in democracy?:wall:

If you persist you are indeed truly doing no more than trolling.
Its a debate board, grow up and get on with debating instead of name calling.

I can accept fact, but I do also consider options.
I'm not close minded
Then why do you not accept that a majority of Scots do not want another referendum?
Once again, I've said numerous times.
I'll bold to make it clearer for you as that is your preference.
I fully accepted the vote of 2014, we moved on, however, Brexit provided a significant and fundamental change since the question was posed and as such it warrants a review of the question

Do you not believe in democracy?
Yet again - and this becomes tedious now - this:Poll blow for Nicola Sturgeon: Scottish independence support drops to 40 per cent
How does that relate to a clear mandate?0 -

Now given your desire for control, over other priorities, I figured you would opt for your own currency.
Nothing would kick start the Scottish economy quicker than a big depreciation in your currency.0 -

Yawn, you are clearly ignorant.

All historical and the Scottish conservatives have not put anything going forward.
I guess RD is waiting for instructions from Westminster.
You clearly ignored the FMQ which pointed out the Scottish Conservatives offer nothing progressive for the Scottish people in way of positive politics and progression in Scotland for the Scottish electorate.A_Medium_Size_Jock wrote: »P.S.

The Scottish Conservatives offer nothing for the Scottish electorate that does not come from Westminster.
They should remove Scottish from their party name

There has been talk about propaganda from the SNP in this thread.
How do you defend this Conservative propaganda?:wall:

I stated fact.
I did not however call you a name.
Show me where I did?
Though we do note you insist upon forum ping pong.
You have not accepted that things have indeed moved on.
As in the post above, at this moment in time Scots do not want another referendum.0 -
IveSeenTheLight wrote: »Answer the question, do you think the rUK would want to impact the £65 Billion export to Scotland and the rUK jobs that this is based on?
I don't think so, which is why the 500,000 jobs you say is at risk is moot as the £50 Billion Scottish export to rUK which this is based on is lower than the import from the rUK.
You've also dismissed the types of export that rUK rely on from Scotland such as energy, food and water.
Perhaps you should have a think about why the amount of trade the rUK does with Scotland is completely irrelevant. Because that's why I didn't answer it. Hence the types don't matter either. Which is ultimately why a good deal is needed for Scottish independence and EU membership to have a chance at not being a complete disaster.
Edit: in fact you go ahead and tell me what you think are the most predominant industries in Scotland that the rUK uses. I'll tell you if you're correct or not.0 -

How do you defend this Conservative propaganda?
Blatantly.
The definition of ignorant:lacking knowledge or awareness in general; uneducated or unsophisticated.discourteous or rude.
Yup, that fits your posts on both counts.
It is only your opinion that the Scottish Conservatives offer nothing going forward.
Hardly surprising from a pro-SNP advocate, is it?Ruth Davidson has hailed a “Scottish fightback against the SNP” after the Tories won their best council election result for decades and Unionist voters punished Nicola Sturgeon for demanding a second independence referendum.
The Scottish Conservatives more than doubled their vote from the 2012 contest, winning an additional 164 seats and overtaking Labour in their best result since local authority boundaries were redrawn in 1974.
Oh look, many Scots agree with me.
