GG I felt I ought to buy something and it was three for 2 and an extra £5 off something. So I bought some stuff.
It was a lovely day and even got a goodie bag with some drink, choccie in it and candle with a scent of wedding day.
very good day and was lovely. Feet are killing me after wearing sky high heels.
At one stage ran after my nephew as we wanted to take a photo of all of us and carried him back under my arm :rotfl: he is only 4 by the way.

PENGUIN,suicidal friend
I have a close make friend who is very depressed and suicidal, he told me last week he's been trying to hang himself from the banister,, I am terrified of losing him. He recently had the crisis team, and got offered a cpn but turned it down, he doesn't believe anything other than meds will work, even though I've told him so many times, the combo of meds and the right type of support are proven to be better than meds alone.
it was his birthday yesterday and I feel bad that I forgot, what with everything on my plate at the mo. I remembered and rang him at 10pm to sing him happy birthday. He told me he kept "blacking out". He had health anxiety/hypochondria, he sees a private dr who is feeling him rubbish about his health, so he does say strange things sometimes, but he 's never mentioned blacking out before, he also said he could feel his "organs shutting down", and his voice sounded slurry, and he doesn't drink alcohol or take drugs. so I was really scared he'd o'ded. I offered to pick him up, take him to my flat, a and e or his. He couldn't communicate where he was, i asked if I should call an ambulance but got angry and put the phone down on me. I called one anyway, he apparently refused to go to a and e , and he's furious with me for forgetting his birthday, then calling one. He's sent me 4 really angry emails telling me he will never forgive me and that he doesn't want to be friends any more. I'm really upset. I replied explaining it's because I care and I'm worried. He had to call them for me 3 times in the last year. I just don't know how to help him any more, as doesn't engage in anything therapeutic. If he had od ed, I would never have forgiven myself if he had've died. I'm his only friend, his family live in Australia. I'm at a loss now as to what to do.

I am normally fairly good. But I let slip about the wedding this afternoon. So felt a bit guilty getting her to do my base make up.
