OH put the heating on last night so I woke up at 3 desperate for a drink.
Sat down had a drink and a chat
Tomcat gave me a meep and a blinky kiss and looked at OH. OH patted his knee and had a cat plonked purring very cute but explains recent back issues with his royal arthritisness as he was in a very odd position lol.

Oh (((((melly))))) no one is going to shout at you.

I guess its because you don't want to look at yourself. Be kind to yourself. You are struggling at the moment.

You have so many fab qualities. I will do you a deal. I will go and shower and get dressed if you jump in the shower. You can jump straight out again if you are not happy.

I know this is strange but would talking to Mr Melly through the bath room door help you through it. Also do you have any really nice smelling indulgent products that you could use.

Not going to force you in to the shower. But I love the feeling after wards being wrapped up in dressing gown and a towel on my head.

You take care what ever you choose today.

    More (((((melly)))))

    Yours

    Calley

Faerie: I think you did everything exactly right.

No need to get into long justifications. "I did what I did because I love you and it was the best help I could think of" is all you need to say.

melly, try and get in the shower. Or do you have a big tub that you could put in the shower tray and fill with bubbly water? No? Neither do we! It's not the sort of thing to have lying around.

Brain chemistry works in strange ways - just ask WaS!

There doesn't have to be a reason why you catch one virus and not another, or why an arthritic joint plays up on one day or not another, so brain chemistry changes can occur without you being aware of a reason.

Interesting that yellow is your calm colour.
Can you affect the colour by mental effort?

One of my tactics is to try to think of a brighter colour, generally it works but it is struggling at the moment.

Yellow is my calm because it is a sunny colour and a sunny day makes me feel happier and lighter. Pinks and reds are angry colours for me, light green is I am ok ish, dark green is another warning colour but not as bad as dark blue.

I'm on a weird grey right now...no idea what that means, not had this one too often, maybe it is the halfway point between the dark blue I have been having and the dark green, which would mean my efforts are partially working.

I am not under the GP for my mental health currently, haven't been for some time as I am considered recovered from my breakdown, thus no medication is being taken for it (lots of medication for other things though!)

To be honest, I am rather reluctant to go up and see him/her. It was a hard fight to come back from the breakdown and move forward and to get them to stop putting everything going wrong with my health down to it that for the moment, I would prefer to use my own methods first before seeking help.

Hopefully it is just a blip.

Melly - don't beat yourself up too much. Quite apart from anything else you have processed hair, so not washing it for a week has probably been good for it. But you know as well as I do that after a shower, with clean hair and and fresh smelling pits, that you'll feel much better. So here's what you're going to do.

Task 1: Go into the bathroom
Task 2: Cover mirror with a towel
    Task 3: Turn on shower
    Task 4: Get naked
Task 5: Get in shower when it's warm
Task 6: Wash hair, soap up and whatever else you need to do in the shower.
Task 7: Get out of shower. Shake like a dog (just me?)
Task 8: Wrap self up in fluffy towel.
    Task 9: Have a nap.
