Another horrible day. Saw the pastor and the undertaker. I'm not sleeping much at all and it's a struggle to eat

    ((((((((((((Torry))))))))))))))

I saw that you had posted on the new Self Help widow thread in OS moneysaving.
There were already some helpful posts on it. I think they will be a great help to you.
Are the people at your church supportive?

As for eating.... it's probably best to stick to small, light meals at the moment, and stuff that takes no effort to chew.
Soup or avocados, or a couple of bananas.
    And water (or tea).

Is your friend still with you?

I'm on my own just now but will be staying with a friend again tonight. My cat is wandering around lost looking for him.

My church is helping but I'm angry with God. Funeral next Friday.
Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

Glad you won't be on your own.

Cat is good for furry cuddles.

    Angry, yes. :A :A

Cat hasn't been near me much since he's been ill and now she just asks for food but no cuddles.

    Aw. :(

    That might change, though.

  • Yes, it might. Cat is obviously feeling bereft as well. Can you force some cuddles on the cat, or aren't you up to that? Sometimes they really do respond to being cuddled, even when they don't feel like it. (Much like humans altho we are a bit more complicated.)

Is anyone helping you plan the funeral? Because sometimes that planning can be quite helpful. And I remember I felt MUCH better once my mother's funeral was over.

Quick head up with editting posts:

There is a forum wide issue where it's next to impossible to edit a post after about 10 seconds after posting it.
So think carefully about anything you want to say, particularly with regards to penguins because there is currently not the option to go back and take anything down if you change your mind about the information you've shared.
