Deka my husband was registered with a gp he didn't much like but we found out that that particular one wasn't in on Mondays so we made a point of booking advance appointments on that day. Could you maybe do the same?

Mine work full time, theres another surgery in same health centre but don't know how good they are and it may look bad if I transferred.

Theres another surgery in town, only one that has its own nurses rather than share with health centre but everyone gives them bad reviews saying they are rude, especially to benefit claimaints.

I don't think they are bad doctors more just the type that doesn't prescible anything for most things unless its obvious when theres a issue, when I had irritated ears a few times (hay fever related) the times when they said it looked ok they didn't prescribe ear drops, when it was red they did, which sounds fair but as I say it seems they only prescrible if its obvious what a problem is if theres no visible signs they just basically almost tell you its in your mind.

That being said last year I went to this doctor about me being selected for jury duty and she was shocked and told me I wouldn't be suitable, so I don't know if by that she meant I was weird or not intelligent enough or that it would be a problem as she rejected giving me councelling or anti depressants when I asked her in past saying as I say its all diet and routine problems, yet if that was the case why say I was unsuitable for jury duty!

Anyway tonight attempted a simple cabinet fix, hoping it lasts.

Saturday morning agility. Gitdog has demonstrated typical bullie style intelligence by bashing the jumps with his nose and delicately stepping over, when he couldn't be arsed jumping. And despite being apparently unable to clear a jump, he kept everyone (except me) entertained by merrily zigzagging over the top of the tunnel when he should have been running through it. I could happily have swung for him this morning.

In agony today, well not yet as yesterday woke to a stiff back and went into shower after 30 minutes and felt sore, then could barely move.

Waited another 30 minutes but got to point I couldn't even move and I was whincing in pain and had to recline my armchair to physically move and even then could barely do so and was whincing in pain, I ate some food and managed to wait 30 minutes then took a anti inflammitory and after a while I was stiff and sore but not in agony till 5 hours later the intense pain came back so I took a proper painkiller and went to bed a little early, managed to get a excellent nights sleep though as the painkiller knocked me out, and still sore this morning though not agony yet I don't know if it will come back.

If it's back pain, keep moving a little if you can. It stops it from seizing up completely.

    PENGUIN Reply to Torry

Hi, sorry I've taken so long to reply. I'm really sorry to hear about all you're going through. It must be very hard. And I understand why it's difficult to be positive. I wish I could say something to lift your spirits but I know that there likely isn't anything, so best I can offer is my sincere hope that the treatment is enough to give you time to collect some good memories. I know from experience how difficult it is to watch someone we care about grow weaker.

Hi all. I've been busy the past few weeks. E's mum had her operation and though it went well there were some small complications and the road to recovery is going to be quite long and hard. She's not too down about it all, so that's good. E and I decided to postpone our wedding plans for now, though, as we're not sure how long it'll take for her mum to be 100% again. We might still go for next October but not knowing exactly how long things will take, E wants to just concentrate on her mum at the mo.

I've been kept busy with work and have discussed a couple of ideas with a friend that might help us both out in the short-term and maybe turn into a small business in the long-term.

Other than that, just tired and achey. Think my body is now starting to rebel against all the work I've been doing in the garage... my back feels a bit stiff, like being placed on a rack to stretch it out would be a good idea! :rotfl: May have overdone it a bit.
She would always like to say,
Why change the past when you can own this day?

It was pain in the shoulder blade itself so bad yesterday couldn't physically move for a hour until I reclined chair to give my back more support without me moving and slowly lifting myself, was agony.

Had the same doctor as a few days ago and she just went its down to my bad sleep related to sleep apnea thus I must be tossing and turning in bed, did check it though and just said it was pulled muscles and to take co codamol at home and ibruprofen.

That's the standard advice. I did my back in big time about 18 months ago over Christmas when all the doctors were shut. Couldn't sit, stand lie down or stay in any one position for more than a minute or so without being in serious pain. After a day of it I phoned 111 in desperation and after they'd ruled out heart attacks and all the other things that might merit a visit to A&E it was just take stronger pain killers and keep moving rather than lie flat which was what they used to tell you. Did the trick in the end, but it really wasn't fun so you have my sympathy while it lasts.

    Hi all,
DH surprised me by saying he did want me to go out on Friday so I went. It wasn't too bad but I was glad to leave when the time came.

Weight going up again, calf aches reminding me to eat less, so doing housework in bursts and resting in between. Hugs to those who need them (gentle one for dekaspace)

Penguin reply to Lambyr We're not at that stage and hopefully not for a very long time yet.

This week is radiotherapy for brain secondaries. EEnd penguin

Glad the operation went well and hope she soon feels much stronger.
Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

So, just as I was about to go out just over a hour ago I notice upstairs neighbours (the one who last week was in my garden) sitting on my fence with his friend having a conversation, sure it was on the footpath but I felt a bit annoyed more because to me it felt like he was just doing what he wants, then he saw me and gave me a frown and said something to his friend and his friend looked at me

For all I know it might not have been anything to do with me, it may of been domestic related as heard a few bouts of shouting past few days from above first thing in morning, and since I have lived here noticed the guy plays loud music in morning after kids go to school yet wife works night shifts.
