Spring has sprung. A moment of peaceful contemplation before he wrecks the flower bed by rolling in it.
Penitent, do you have a garden for a bit of respite or is that not something you can manage?
ETA just realised why next door's silly little dog had finally gone quiet. While we were in the garden he'd snuck in the backdoor and was asleep in Gitdog's bed.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Hello all
Please can I join you again? I was on the very first thread, well done everyone for keeping it going for so long, I am sure you have all been a help to many in need.
I am afraid I am a bit fickle and suddenly left with seemingly no reason, I felt bad for doing so and too guilty to return (the longer you leave it the harder it is). Nothing to do with anyone on here its my issue not theirs and I can't guarantee it wont happen again but I will try to stay around.
I recognise many of the names and lots of new ones, looking forward to 'meeting' you all.
My number one lesson to learn for today is apart from this thread to not post on the marriage and families board, it can be brutal when your MH is not up to it, shame as a lot of posters provide valuable help/advise, to those that may not necessary agree with things that's fine you are entitled to your option but I can't really see the need to post, just keep your opinions to yourself if they are likely to upset.0 -
Lovely to see you back, iammumtoone. Don't feel bad - people are welcome to drop in and out as they like (although we may 'chase'them if we're feeling worried about them.) It's just when old friends drop back in!Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0

Today I am mainly tired.
Calling CMHT for me tomorrow
It may not be any use but I probably need something at the moment0 -
Thanks for the welcome folks.
Mellymoo - I recently learnt that you need to look after yourself first if you want to be of help to anyone. Common sense really but much harder to actually achieve. What helped me was when I read that flight attendants tell you that in an emergency you should always put your air mask on first, to enable you to help others, if you don't do this you will be of no help to anybody.
I had a mini breakthrough with ds tonight. He hates baths and showers it is a daily battle to get him to have a wash. Tonight he explained to me that the water of the shower feels like needles stabbing his skin. I feel terribly guilty for all those times I told him just to get on with it, its only water it will not hurt him, no surprise then that he would kick off against it/me.0
