Penguin reply to SDW sorry you've not been able to go to church much, God understands though. I haven't been often myself as I too find the service too loud and stressful, hence forcing myslef yesterday. We used to have an evening service but the leadership decided to stop it. We do have cafe church once a month which is worth going to for the cakes alone! One year in January someone at church asked about my Christmas and when I said I was glad it was over, they said well you don't have children so I suppose you can't really enjoy it!

I know..... I'm not going to contact him, and I know it's absolutely for the best that he hasn't contacted me but oh my goodness it hurts that he hasn't. Even Red Dwarf isn't helping tonight...and Red Dwarf always helps.0 -

tea, once more I cannot think of anything that will make it better.
code, crazy indeed.
Definitely not your fault, WaS. I definitely think that it is important to still enjoy the rest of the year in our own ways, to smile and to laugh but also as a nation to remain sensitive to what else is going on so it doesn't feel trivialised.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Uuurggg.
Which roughly translates as morning all from someone who slept too heavily and now can't wake up. If that's what one glass of red does on a school night I'm going tea total.
Also wanted to say I'm in with the concept of WaSmas and am attempting to think positive (if somewhat slow) thoughts.

Penguin Reply to Torry about Church:
Thanks, yes, God does understand. There are several people I know who are not happy about church at the moment, I am glad I am not the only one. I still feel sorry however, that you also are unable to go!
The remark about Children/Christmas was very, very insensitive. :

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -
