Morning ono (and everyone else :))

Yeah not too bad today - definitely helps that it's my last day at work :D

I did hear from him last night - which I think was a good thing actually as I went from moping around wondering why he hadn't contacted me to really flipping angry. I replied... which maybe wasn't the wisest idea but believe me, it was in no way polite or forgiving! Told him I had no interest in his stream of BS, that he was a pathetic coward and to grow up and leave me the flip alone.

Then obviously I felt bad as I don't want to be that vindictive and spiteful.... but there really was a lot of provocation.

Oh for goodness sake, Tea, be vindictive and spiteful!
I don't often get murderous thoughts,, but his behaviour is pushing me over the edge!

    Don't you dare feel bad!

It's more that I feel bad because I don't want to stoop to that level - believe me, I can see that his behaviour warrants that response! But I don't want to compromise the kind of person I am in response to his behaviour.... if that makes sense?

Tea, you could spout the most hideous load of vindictive bile at him and it still wouldn't come close to being what he deserves to hear.

Enjoy the fact that it's your last day at work and try to think of him as little as possible. How long are you off for and what do you have planned?

I think I'm going to be testing my limits for how much I can get away with on a school night this week. Bad planning means that I've got to get as much as possible done tonight as I'm out every night from tomorrow until Christmas. I didn't want to risk leaving shopping until Christmas Eve, in case they've run out of stuff, so I am being sensible and cutting Thursday night a bit short so that I can go and pick up all of the veg for Christmas dinner on my way home. That should be an interesting shopping trip :D

Having lived through a very painful breakup, it makes complete sense to me. I refused to let what she did to me change who I am.

I agree Ono, but there's a difference between reaching the end of your tether and letting rip at someone who's done the dirty on you over and over and over.......... and just rolling over and taking it.

It's about time Tea really gave him a piece of her mind.

Let out the inner b I t c h, Tea, and then go back to being the wonderful, kind Tea we all know and love.:A

Oh I have done, many times. It just doesn't make any difference.

Well, in that case, save your energy, and walk away with your head held high.

And get him to shift that car. Pronto.

    Then delete his number.

Ok, helpful technical people, how do I subscribe to a blog?
It is Mark Neary's Love Belief and Balls which is worth following for his battles with social care on behalf of his son.

    https://markneary1dotcom1.wordpress.com/2016/12/15/less-massive/

However I'm not on twitter and don't know what an RSS feed is. I looked at setting up a wordpress account but it seems to want me to set up my own page and all I want is email reminders when there's a new post.

    Help!
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
  • Can't really help I'm afraid Elsien. I am on twitter, but continually forget that I'm there, and I've never used RSS so poorly placed to advise anyone else about it! This page has a short intro to RSS : http://www.whatisrss.com and it seems that my browser (Opera) can serve as an RSS feed aggregator. If I had any feeds I wanted to subscribe to, that is. Even if I did I'd probably forget to check....

Seems Facebook is about all the social media I can deal with :rotfl: . I suppose I could create an account on linkedin as that seems popular, but no idea who I'd "add" (or whatever it is you do on there :p )
