Maybe pop along to a pharmacist if there is one near you.
Alternatively, someone used to sports injuries may be able to give an opinion until you can get to proper medical attention.
Otherwise, is there anyone you can ask to drop you off at a and e? I'd do it for a friend.
I was in a grump before my meeting this morning but it was really good. Had a lovely chill out afternoon. Did some more spending other people's money (obviously they know!) And possibly about to do some more...:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Been to see a private consultant over my feet.
Ultrasound, treatment penguin (injection into a nerve under local anaesthetic) end of penguin and a follow up appointmemt booked.
Limped home by public transport and nursing myself (being very still as local anaesthesia wears off) for a day.
If I'd waited for NHS treatment, there would have been a consultation, a wait of weeks for an ultrasound and then another wait for treatment.
It was expensive, but it was worth it.
Hugs to everyone. Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0 -

Provided you can breathe ok, try the ice pack and rest.
Lie on soft pillows tonight if that helps.
If the pain worsens or starts to affect your breathing, then A&E for you, young lady!
Otherwise, give it a day or so, and if it's no better, A&E for you, young lady!
At the very least, ask your GP for a telephone consultation, or even an emergency appointment.(I just lurve spiders!)

I'd suggest phoning 111. If they think you need an earlier appt then can tell you so, and contact the GP to say you've been in touch which might get you past the receptionist for a same day appointment.
Would anyone like to see Gitdog's sorry face for cracking me in the face and giving me a bruised eye when he was meant to be gently consoling me?
ETA - ch 4 programme tonight about girls, anxiety and depression. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

I am covered in bruises thanks to action collie. He jumps up and on me and action man. Nearly ended up tripping over him a couple of times today
Last night action man, me and action collie were messing about on the floor. And action mans elbow smacked me in the mouth ouch that hurt. Still not right today. He is very apologetic about it. But just one of those things that happens when you mess about.
Even though I had a nap of an hour earlier. I think I am going to toddle off to bed and leave action man to his action figure tv series. As still tired and still not shifted this cold either.
Hope everyone gets some rest tonight.
Yours

Calley, you want to watch out messing about on the floor with lively collies; they have been known to, erm, get a bit frisky with humins on the floor! :rotfl:(I just lurve spiders!)
