I didn't realise they photographed the door to prove they'd been there. Seeing as I get most stuff delivered to work there's generally someone here to take parcels. Annoyingly the guys on the desk at the main entrance, which is covered 24/7, aren't allowed to sign for stuff. There are 4 different companies in the building and they have to send delivery people to the appropriate floor.
I think that's fair enough, because there'd be all sorts of scope for things going astray, if they were all left at the main desk.

And I guess that they haven't been properly delivered if they're not taken to the actual company that ordered them.

I don't post much but feeling very sorry for myself today.I slipped getting on a train on Friday nearly fell down the gap and had to jerk myself up and have either pulled a muscle or sprained something.Having trouble sleeping because it hurts when I move and got a cold so it hurts if I cough or sneeze.I tried to get a doctors appointment but they can't fit me in till next week and I doubt there is anything they can do anyway.Funny thing is I have always had a phobia of getting on and off trains maybe I knew this was going to happen one day.

This happened to me once Gemini, only it was getting off the train and it was scary. If there's a minor injuries unit nearby you could go there rather than waiting for a GP. . Maybe worth a visit if it hurts when you breathe. Gentle hugs.

Oh gemini that sounds painful and scary, you poor thing! Also what rubbish timing to then get a cold as well.... you need a gentle lie down in the fort, we have some very squishy pillows in there :)

Is the pain in a limb? If so, and you feel it's muscular, ie, you can move every part of the limb easily, an ice pack, used properly, should help.
Is there any swelling? Or redness? Or heat coming off the painful part? That might indicate a fracture.

If it's around your chest, and you think it might be a rib, then yes, I recommend A&E or a walk-in centre to rule out a fractured rib.

Gemini, that sounds horrible and I hope you feel better soon.

If I slip / pull myself up awkwardly I generally go to my chiropractor to make sure everything's sitting where it should. I've been going to her for years though so trust her to be able to check nothing's gone amiss but it might not be so easy with someone who has no history for you.

It is the left side under my chest,no swelling or redness,no walk in centers near me and it would be two buses to A&E
