What I want to know is, who goes all over the country depositing these 'ere Pokymums all over the place?
Seriously, though, how are they generated?(I just lurve spiders!)

In most computer games where you have to hunt creatures, the game will automatically create more some amount of time after one has been captured / killed so they don't run out.
"Spawn time" or "respawn time" is an oft-heard term in online gaming. So in Everquest when I used to play that, it was typically 15-20 minutes after you killed a monster that something new would appear again in the same spot. If it was a special monster (harder to kill with better treasure) the times could be longer, up to a week in the case of things like dragons.Proud member of the wokerati, though I don't eat tofu.Home is where my books are.Solar PV 5.2kWp system, SE facing, >1% shading, installed March 2019.Mortgage free July 20230 -
But how are they randomly allocated to real places, though? And even in people's gardens?(I just lurve spiders!)

The spawn locations for pokemon seem to have been chosen at random but always near enough roads or footpaths. You don't have to be standing on top of the pokemon to catch it, within about 50 yards is close enough.Proud member of the wokerati, though I don't eat tofu.Home is where my books are.Solar PV 5.2kWp system, SE facing, >1% shading, installed March 2019.Mortgage free July 20230

I miss Code too. Calley is taking a break but does read along. (Hi Calley!)
I am sorry it's a Grrr day, Oakdene,
Talking of Pokemon WaSp is currently trying to fix a very old Android Tablet that a customer abandoned so that I can see if I can catch some. I won't be going out to find them unless it's 3am but I hope to find some around the flat!
Does anyone know if it is too late in the year to repot houseplants? I have babies all over mine and they desperately need pots of their own.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

I would say Autumn is a good time of year to repot.
Actually, with house plants, I doubt that it's all that crucial.(I just lurve spiders!)
