Urgh.......Tea........I think I've caught your lurgy. I suddenly don't feel very well.
I might have known, I felt exhausted yesterday, and that's usually a sign. :(

Thanks for that Pyxis, will show the kids later when I get home...

Just a quick update from a sun drenched office... I replied to the message saying 'Oh ok...no worries. Glad you're well. (told her about new job I started)
I shouldnt have messagaed you, sorry that I did. When I saw you liked the old picture of us I started to think... sorry again. Take Care"

It's beautifully sunny here in Cheshire, but was v dark and rainy on the way up. Trains weren't great due to the rains and resultant landslide (south of where I was travelling but the disruption goes a long way!) Am very much hoping they're not too bad on the way back....fingers crossed!

Am very glad you're on holiday code. Hope you have an amazing time, and that any body (or other) issues clear off!

Pyxis - if it's any consolation, my lurgy didn't seem to come to much. Feel much better today than yesterday, although still have a sore throat. Although, I knew I had a busy day today so will no doubt be fine until I get home for a free weekend and relax, then be ill on my own time :rotfl:.
  • Had a one day heatwave yesterday, which was nice, though the garage bill for the service and MOT on the boring diesel car wasn't :rotfl: Cloud today with intermittent sunshine, but good conditions for a 5km lunchtime poke-walk which hatched me a Ekans and Vulpix, both new ones for my Pokedex :D . Also caught half a dozen Drowzees, so I think it must have the ability to sense my need for sleep!

It's rubbish when that happens! Come home feeling extra tired on a Friday, go to bed ill, and have it clear up on Sunday evening, just in time for work

  • Thanks Georgie, it's party tomorrow and actual birthday next week but lots of family will be on holiday.

I've found a deer park round here full of vulpix! I hatched a tanglea the other day, it looks like spaghetti.

    Hello code! Happy holiday.

Do you ever find any in your own house, or is it just outside in public places?

  • I've never found any in my house, but I know some people do. We have to walk quarter mile down the road before we start to find any, probably because we live in the middle of nowhere

Pyxis - it's Nisem želva. According to our multilingual tour guide the other day, Slavic languages are quite similar so you can make yourself understood in any of them and even in Russian. So you can say it in serbo-croat or Bosnian. Montenegro is beautiful and so cheap so you'll have a great time. We're thinking of going back there next year.

We went to the zoo today and it was raining. Mr CP was annoyed with me because I wanted to go today so obviously the rain was my fault. I ended up in the elephant house alone because I wanted to take a photo and there was an elephant inside sheltering from the rain. There was a rail and a gap between the people and the enclosure but the elephant could just about reach out with her trunk and touch the the rail and she reached out to my hand. So I got sniffed by an elephant :rotfl:

So body image issues ahoy. Penguin because it's penguinySo my body image has plummeted to utter self-hatred and total belief that I am the ugliest, fattest, most disgusting troll who ever lived. Our first day here, the communists were in the fun house and so I was bloated. I put a dress on and my belly and hips looked so massive. I tried a few outfits and got to the point where I genuinely did not want to leave the room. I ended up roasting through the day because I wore so many clothes. This is crisis point as it's the eating disorder taking control which is never good.

I'm hoping it's related to all the clothes shopping (horrid), and stress of changing jobs and that once things settle down, I can recover some confidence.

Also, it doesn't help that Slovenian women are all just gorgeous. The men aren't bad either.
    end Penguin.

  • Finally sat down at last, been carting the old shed to the tip, and because it was rotten it was in so many pieces and it took ages! I wasn't having my Mam carry massive bits of wood around (she'd been up for dinner and offered), so I dropped her off at my Auntys to sit in the garden with her and her neighbour, and I roped my poor uncle in to help! :p

Been lovely and sunny and warm here today, fingers crossed it's like that tomorrow :)

I've never caught any pokemon in my house either, although I've heard some people say that a few appeared on their bed!
