Now I remember why I stopped use hair removing creams. My arm pits feel sore and on fire and did not even leave it on for more 4 mins. Ouchy ouchy ouchy. Interesting when I have to put some deodorant on in a min :eek:

Evening all!

I am typing one handed. A nurse popped by this morning and washed my burn and put dressing over my hand, she also told me off because I should have gone to the hospital with a burn this large apparently. The one on my finger has now blistered up enough to meet with the one on my palm so I have a useless hand. This is annoying.

Welly, clients skip sessions all of the time! Don't feel bad about it, just explain it and your therapist will be fine!

Calley, have a big hug! Of course you aren't fake for being here, you are an important part of our little friendship group and we care about you very much. Everyone feels like they don't fit sometimes. I'll tell you what, sometimes I feel as if I am too ill to post here because I seem so extreme. The reversal of how you feel! Then I tell myself not to be silly, post anyway and feel better. You are always, always welcome. Anyone is welcome here.

Big huge, squishes and handshakes to everyone, don't worry if I'm quiet, typing is difficult with one hand.

Hahaha! WaS! You need voice recognition typing! I have an app that does that! It's not foolproof, and so you have to check and edit it, but it's not too bad!

I haven't used it much, but in your situation, it might work!

I just did the following on the dictation thing and have copied it to here verbatim. As you can see, it didn't get my username right -pixies instead of Pyxis - and didn't capitalise WaS, plus you have to speak the punctuation. (Or you can go back and do it manually). But otherwise, it's not too bad!......

Hello this is pixies I am just having a go with my dictation machine it is really rather good I shall tell was all about it however I forgot that you have to put in the punctuation marks, otherwise it doesn't do any.


End of dictation.


The punctuation towards the end, I spoke it, saying comma and then full stop. I think you can also say New Paragraph as well.

Hahahahahaha! I am now giggling like a schoolgirl.

Voice dictation software is a thought! I can't remove the dressing for 7 days, until then I have to cover it with clingfilm or a plastic bag to shower. I don't think I can handle typing with one hand for that long!

On top of that my monitor keeps going black and I have to twist the case to make it come back on! If you so much as bump it the screen goes off. It's driving me mad!

Aww, in the new MSE layout it has reduce the space for a username next to posts, I am now 'Waves and...' I want my Smiles back!

Oh I don't know. It opens up all sorts of other intriguing possibilities.:D

I am spending my time trying to get Gitdog to overcome his rubber floor aversion so he doesn't fail his gold award. In practice this means that whenever I ask him to lie on the mat he scoots over to his bed and lies there looking pleased with himself.
I am impressed with his problem solving even if what little obedience he had is now going down the pan at speed.
