Is this work related by any chance, elsien? Sounds just like the sort of thing I hear at work....
(And we had a meeting today at which some local professionals excelled themselves. I won't put identifiable details on here, but suffice it to say that brain cells were not very involved......... Several people demonstrated that they didn't have any, in fact.)

It is indeed - how did you guess?
The current debate was about why advocates are saying what patients want them to say, instead of what doctors want them to say. This apparently is an extremely hard concept to grasp.
In other news, Gitdog has finally been outpillocked in training class. I'm oddly miffed that we are no longer class clown and Gitdog is now a shining pillar of society. Ish.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

I get the impression that comment about Gitdog may come back to haunt you :rotfl::rotfl:0

Curses to you lot and your talk of memory foam. I had a memory foam matress in my old flat and I loved it. Mr CP wasn't a fan though and we do have a comfy bed now. But I ended up buying a memory foam pillow and a silk pillowcase for it in the hope it will stop me from hurting my neck. I love my bed so much.
My skirt arrived and it is amazing. It's ginormous so I look the size of a house but I don't care because it's so swishy and long (because I have really long legs, long skirts generally finish before my ankles so having something that almost grazes the floor is amazing). I love it so much I want to wear it all the time. I almost went to work in it :rotfl:Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
Aww code, I am picturing you having a lovely swish about and it's really put a smile on my face
Rambling penguin that refers to infertility...
Am at home today and watching the Olympics, the heptathlon has just got under way. When London 2012 was on I'd just started taking clomid and it didn't really occur to me that it wouldn't work. I thought we might have to try other things, or try IVF, but it didn't cross my mind that we wouldn't get there at all. The reason this is at the front of my mind today is that I can remember getting really excited about the athletics last time (it was so good!) and thinking that Jessica would be a lovely baby name.
I just can't quite believe that 4 years have gone by. I feel old!
In general things are good at the moment (stupid amounts of work aside), but this is so not where I thought we'd be, this time four years ago.
This is like my new years eve review-of-the-year bad mood, come early :rotfl:.

Big hugs tea, Memories like that can creep up on you. Be gentle with yourself today, chocolate biscuits are in the fort.
Your skirt sounds amazing, Code!
So who is this rival to Gitdog, elsien? They may end up the best of friends!
We also have a memory foam topper and it really helps with my back.
I have an old injury back. Many years ago I managed to fall and hit my knee on a kerb, thus cracking my knee cap. It did heal but has developed arthritis as a result. I have been awake most of the night in pain and can't straighten it today, it is also cracking when I put weight on it and really throbbing. Argh! What has happened to it? A physical relationship with a friend, no matter how it started, will never end well. Even if you're best friends & promise that no one will get hurt...
Just leaving this here to remind myself next time I think it's a good idea.Dwy galon, un dyhead,

I am sorry, Oakdene. That sounds very painful. You can always leave little reminders here or just talk to us. We will always listen.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France
