GG, that sounds fab. I would like to give it a go but to scared to :rotfl:

    It looked such fun!

Took ages for everyone to get a go, and even then 2 of the women only got a couple of minutes before they had to land as apparently they were too light.

My Mam walked part of the way up the hill but then decided it might be abit much and so went back and sat in the car. In a way it's a good job she did as we ended up standing on the top of the hill for about 3 hours waiting for the wind to be right. First off it wasn't windy enough, then it was too windy. Felt sorry for my Mam just sitting in the car though, she said she still enjoyed it and was ok though.

Because of my SLR camera and big lens, I had 3 people ask me if I was the professional photographer, and then asked if I would take their cameras too, so I then had 4 cameras including my own! I should have charged them lol! :p

I was shattered when I got back, and unlike me, I went to bed at half ten instead of past midnight.

We are going to redecorate this week, so we have made some quick decisions on getting rid of some of the shabby furniture that we have while the recycling centre is open. Seems like there are piles of dust everywhere so we have all windows and doors open.

Am about to convince myself to charity shop a massive pile of books. I have read and enjoyed them anyway and have more still to read but I would enjoy the new space. It's just`the pang of letting them go.

Going to sit in the garden with the BBQ later so that is our reward.

    Anyone else watching the Olympics?

We are enjoying it. I enjoy watching sport since I have been keeping up my exercise classes.

D's watching bits of the Olympics. He likes watching certain sports such as the rowing. I'm not really interested to be honest.

Hope the weather stayed nice for your BBQ :) It's blowing a gale up here!

I'm not that bothered about the Olympics. I might watch some track and field though. Rio looks so beautiful although they don't seem to be showing the favelas or dodgy bits.

Just finished watching The Tale of the Princess Kaguya. It's really good but sad. It's also really long.

It's also blowing a gale here Georgie. Good job your Uncle's event was yesterday. I'm waiting to see the next thing he decides to do. I'm thinking swimming with sharks.

  • Aww,whitewing. Tell Littlewing I understand. I kiss everything and wish everything well that I give away too!

We are having a very quiet time here. WaSp has shingles around his waist and he isn't allowed out until they scab over, he certainly isn't allowed to visit anyone frail or elderly so he hasn't been able to visit Milliefleur this week. It is uncomfortable for him but bearable and he has been given antivirals to take to hopefully reduce the duration. Luckily we have food delivered and don't need anything else so he doesn't have to go out until he's fully better.

I would not be surprised code lol! :D Apparently the next thing he's doing (and I'll be doing it too) is the Via Ferrata Extreme! :p

I just looked at the photos for that and felt dizzy. Nope! :T

WaS and other sloth lovers, here is a video of some baby sloths having a bath. It shouldn't be triggery at all.

Even though I can sometimes be a bit  with heights, I somehow love climbing and the like, so I think it'll be cool! :D

That sloth video might just about be the cutest thing ever!
