    Happy birthday Calley :bdaycake:

I hope you have a fantastic day, what did you decide to do?

Also, I introduced IzHe to a couple of close friends after 2 months and we met each other's immediate family about 4-5 months into the relationship.

(((( Faerie )))) I hope you manage to get some reassuring answers from the doctor and agency today.

I really feel for those of you who hate the heat. I love sunshine but the heat at night is starting to get even me down. Last night IzHe and I were both tired and grouchy so, needing to cool down both literally and metaphorically, I went for a walk down to the seafront at about half 11 and even there it felt airless. Once I got back I managed about 4 hours' sleep before I woke up feeling like my entrails were boiling so I think today is going to involve a lot of coffee!!!

    Happy Birthday Calley! :bdaycake:

What a total contrast to yesterday weather wise! About 6-630am (maybe sooner, but that's when I woke) the storm started! Torrential rain, thunder, lightening, the lot! I quite like T&L, and it seems so does the cat, as he was on the windowsil looking out with amazement at the lightening! It's still raining heavy now. Still warm, but not as humid.

Bring back the hot sunny weather! (Sorry WaS and anyone else who doesn't like it!)
  • Hahahaha! Swap you, Georgie! Brilliant sunshine and 30F temperatures here! Please don't worry about wishing for hot and sunny weather, I shall be driving everyone mad in winter saying how blissful it is when it's freezing! :rotfl:

A swap sounds good WaS! :rotfl: The weather did say one really hot day, and then the temperature would drop to about 19/20, and true enough it has. According to my weather app, looks likes it's going to be raining for the foreseeable, apart from maybe Saturday.
  • Bliss, Georgie! Bliss I tell you! :rotfl:

Here it supposed to remain hot until next Wednesday, I couldn't live in a worse part of the country for my health. I am feeling slightly better however as earlier I spent an hour lying in a bath of cold water. WaSp has also bought me a haul of sports drinks which apparently replace electrolytes. The only reason I become ill in hot weather is because I sweat out the already reduced amount I have so if I live off and those and bananas for the potassium I should feel better.

    Happy birthday calley

Fertility penguin So, with all the unsettling things happening at work, my colleague has just told me she's pregnant and off on maternity leave at the end of the year. This has hit me on two levels, on the fertility thing and also being stuck on that team by myself as they won't replace her. Luckily I'm working from home this morning so I could indulge my first instinct which was to burst into tears. Seems everyone is having babies but me. I need to pull myself together for going in this afternoon though.

Well, it's stopped raining at least, and the sun is starting to poke through a little bit! Is it raining there yet WaS, is our weather swap working? :rotfl:

Ah Bananas! I don't buy them that often, but I go through phases of wanting some, especially when I'm exercising more. Bought some and had one yesterday, but will have to try and remember to eat the rest!

((((Code)))) Do you have to go in this afternoon? Also, seems bad they're bringing no one in to cover her leave and so therefore leaving you on your own. :(
