Just to say as well Faerie, that your contract is with the landlord. If he wants to keep HB tenants that is his decision, not the agency's. They may not like it, but it's not up to them.

Ono, my phone stopped working in the car because it was too hot. Which was difficult as I was using the satnav app at the time. Then I remembered I had air conditioning I was failing to use.:o

    Happy birthday calley!!

Faerie, I don't understand the technicalities of all the housing things but welly's post looks really helpful. I hope you manage to get your meds sorted today - WaS is right (always :D), that needs to be your priority.

I think it's hotter here today! I need a storm so badly.... my car was 38 degrees yesterday. I walked home from a friends house just before 10pm, it's about a 2 min walk and I was so sweaty when I got home (nice huh?!) Slept very badly - not helped by a v fidgety p cat. My boss is supposed to be in today and I am proper dreading it.

    Creme eggs?
    Easter eggs?

People need to know these things :D

My car's (external) thermometer said it was 38C on the way home from work, not sure I believe that, but it certainly was a warm afternoon, and still 26C outside when I went to bed.

My sympathies to those of you suffering in the heat.
Does it help to know some of us are savouring every second, or is that just annoying? I have been keeping quiet as I know it's not fun for many, but it is utter bliss for me. Sorry.

Tell us more about the eggs, Tea Lover!

  • Don't worry, Solar! I really like hearing that people are enjoying the lovely weather! I used to love it before Addisons disease, I would be lying in parks in the sunshine, reading books at every chance I got. I don't hate the heat or other people enjoying it at all, it hates me! Please do share some happy hot weather stories, I can live vicariously through you!
