thanks to everyone who replied.. I havew a housing support worker, she's really nice, it's a service for anyone with MH probs and housing problems, she was the one who told me that because I don't have kids and I'm not pregnant, that in theory, they can send me anywhere in the country in temporary accomodation.. I am really shocked to see that having a mental health centrte that I need, as well as my friends being here, and having a surgeon who is the only person to risk operating on me, don't count for being housed locally.. it's outrageous.. I am proactive, I don't go down without a fight.. Unfortunately I have to endure this terrible insecurity until I get evicted, otherwise it counts as making myself intentionally homeless. My housing worker says that there is n way I will get up to band A, the top band for bidding on council flats, even with my sewage prob, the steep stairs and not being able to use the shower due to disabilities.. but I've filled in some more forms , photocopied the multitude of consultant letters and written a letter, and I'm taking it to the council tomorrow.. it's a long shot, and I don't believe I'll get my banding upped, but i will try. I'm going to ring my nice new gp tomorrow too for an appnt, and I'll get him to write a good letter, and when I do get evicted, I'll mobilise all the professionals again, including my mental health keyworker , my care agency manager, and my MP, Caroline Lucas, for letters to fight my case to get housed in Brighton.

losing my home, whenever it comes, is terrifying me and causing me to dissociate and regress badly to a frightened child. I hate feeling this disassociated it's like being on some horrible drugs. I'm going to ask my gp if I can get my antipsychotics upped and I've got a keyworking on wed so I'll tell her what state I'm in and see if she has any advice.

Changing the subject, and I know political talk can be a difficult territory but does anyone know the logistics to vote for Corbyn? I can't make head or tail of what I'm supposed to do.. I paid £26 yesterday thinking that entitled me to vote, but it looks like I might have to pay another £25.. it's so confusing!
Many thanks to all who contribute on MSE :)

Faerie, I'm impressed that you're being so proactive when you're struggling so much. I hope it does make some difference for you and that someone somewhere takes notice.

Ono, I'm in the Midlands and I'm aware!! Was 34 degrees on the way home according to my car. Gonna be even hotter tomorrow. Just off for a shower then my plan is to get straight into bed and enjoy being cool for about 3 mins.

I've been Pok!mon-ing, purely to show Escapette what to do of course! I prefer geocaching as I like to find actual real life things, but bearded one was a big Pokemon fan years ago so he is loving it.

Had a BBQ tonight, was really lovely.

I'm sorry code, I totally forgot to do my booking. Will try again tomorrow

Went out for a walk for an hour before the sun set, combined with some ingress and pokemon :rotfl: It's still really warm outside, even now it's around 23-24C outside the bedroom window. Think I will leave the ceiling fan its lowest speed on when I go to bed - I installed it when I gutted and completely refurbished the room for weather like this, only get to use it once or twice a year though!

  • Hugs, squishes and handshakes to all who need them, just popping in!

It is going to be 33F here today and it is already 29F. I am feeling thoroughly ill and feeling thoroughly sorry for myself *sulks*. If I am not craving liquid I am craving salt because my electrolytes are so messed up and I have cramps even in my fingers and toes. Also, my kidneys hurt. Stupid Addisons Disease!

Otherwise I am fine though, so yay! I just really need it to be cooler.

I will be in the fort buried in ice cubes, please throw ice lollies at me.

Too hot for hugs but sending best wishes to WaS and faerie and everybody.

ER is back at main hospital as she has an infection.

Littlewing gets ice lollies at school today and they are not even pretending to work so she is really happy.

I am going to try to book Thursday off. Thinking of taking advantage of the weather and taking littlewing to camp in MIL's garden overnight. We are forfeiting the holiday this year to get some home improvements done so we are thinking of ways to make it exciting for littlewing.

You know it's too hot when you dream about defrosting the fridge... although for some reason it was full of books :rotfl:.

I'm even hotter and grumpier today.... feel genuinely sorry for the people around me. Heat and hormones is not a good mix!
