blimey, ono. Thought you were quiet. Not even I actually bothered to read it!
:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.

Thanks for the Birthday wishes! :) How sweet of you to remember Pyxis :A Belated Birthday wishes to Ono too, hope you had a lovely day!

Had a lovely day, did a RIB ride down the Thames again which is always fun (although it started to rain on the way back and with going at such a high speed the rain felt more like hailstones!), it was the Pride parade in central London, so we went down into Trafalgar Square where there was music and events on. There was an awesome atmosphere, very joyous and inclusive. Had an Italian meal, went to see Wicked at the theatre and then ended up in Soho!

Last night we went to see a play called 'The comedy about a bank robbery', by the people who did 'The play that went wrong'. It was very clever, and the timing was spot on, but for us, it didn't have as many laugh out loud moments as I thought it would, although others obviously disagreed because they were roaring with laughter! It was in the Criterion theatre which is a fairly smallish theatre which is actually underground, and you can hear the tube go over you!

Wouldn't it be wonderful if we had a magic, moving duvet fort? We could decide what language we are not turtles in and head off there.

On that note - Ég er ekki skjaldbaka. (according to Google translate that is 'I am not a turtle' in Icelandic) :rotfl:

Evening Georgie. Was Wicked good? I quite like musicals but never been to see that one.

And belated happy birthday to you and ono - I thought I'd posted birthday wishes but apparently not.

Speaking of thinking you'd done something, the other day Mr CP was telling me off for not eating enough fruit and I said he was talking nonsense because I had eaten a banana an hour ago. He said I hadn't. I swore I had. He got the bag and it was still sealed. I'd had a nap earlier and dreamed about having a banana and it was so vivid and pedestrian, I actually thought I had.:rotfl:

Evening code :) Usually when we go to London there's at least 2-3 shows we want to see, atm though there doesn't seem to be much on that really appeals to us. Wicked was always one that I've been curious about. I've heard so many good things about it, but was never totally sure if I wanted to see it or not, I only knew the one song, but actually when it came to it, I knew two! Anyhow, I wasn't going to stay in on my Birthday, and it would have felt wrong going to London and not going to the theatre!

It was slow going at first I thought, but then it picked up and we both really enjoyed it. I can see why it's been going for nearly 10 years. Catchy songs, fantastic scenery, and really good storyline. Didn't realise anyone famous was in it until I looked in my programme and saw that the Wizard was Mark Curry out of Blue Peter! He was actually really good and can actually sing.

Talking of Bananas, I was trying to sleep on the train before and all I could think was "hmm, I can smell bananas", and it was really bugging me, and then realising it was because one had appeared off the trolley that came round! :p Invasion of the Bananas lol! :rotfl:

Slightly off topic, but just read two book reviews that may be of interest to anyone who wants more information, or to know they're not alone.
I'll post the reviews for anyone who's interested. The anxiety one sounds informative.

Speaking of musicals, I was looking at Aladdin tickets last night - think I'd have to remortgage! Plan B needed I think. Last musical I saw was in Northampton (touring production of Joseph) and oh my, it was so good even my dad was singing :D

*tootles off to check local-ish theatres for musicals*

    Happy Birthday HBS!! :bdaycake:

Because we were delayed for over two hours going down to London, we can claim back our train fare which will be about £150. It was a pita at the time, but worth it now I guess lol! :p
